Hello everyone,
It is April already and although I am sharing some different views of our garden in all it's glory I have to confess it is still mostly shades of brown right now so not exactly photogenic just yet. The only blooms I have right now are a few snowdrops.
So I am taking you on a little tour of the garden last year.
This hillside garden will soon be covered with the cheery blooms of hundreds of daffodils but here in August the daylillies steal the show. The steps in the hillside garden are old Island sandstone that were used in the foundation of my daughters old home.
I am looking forward to color in the garden again.
My husband built this arbor many years ago.
The August garden- our most colorful month.
A shot taken from our balcony- facing south.
My new camera takes video as well, so this summer I am looking forward to doing some videos and hopefully I can figure out how to put one on my blog someday.
Just a few random shots of some of our garden last year-hope you enjoy them!
Thank you for visiting me.
Carolyn

Oh Carolyn! Your garden is truly breathtaking. August is way too hot in our area - shortly thereafter the garden has a second wind - I look forward to August to view your gorgeous garden!
I hope you have a wonderful week,
Kathy
Thank you for the tour. Even though it is from last summer the colour was delightful, it is still very brown here with tiny patches of green. Take care and have a wonderful week:)
Oh my goodness, that is BEAUTIFUL. Sigh!

Oh, what wonderful fun! We are still only in crocus stage, ourselves, but isn't it just all so beautiful and wonderful - pale brown spring?
Carolyn, I've just done the same thing (finally - silly me, I don't know what took me so long....) I just blogged about my garden, last year. I've been having such a fun time looking and planning, still, what I want to do, although, indeed, it's time to get a move on. I hope there are still some seeds left to buy! =]
Happy garden dreaming to you, too! =]
Love,
Katy xxo
It will be a treat to see videos of your gardens. I will look forward to them.

These RE-RUNS..we love lady. Even here in the deep south/Alabama the color and blooms are not coming fast enough for us..already my bridal wreath and wisteria and azalea are gone..still have some bearded Irises and my hot lips salvia is just starting to bloom and of course the KNOCK OUT ROSES and a few others roses showing up..
its hard to imagine heaven could be more beautiful than walking through your earthly garden at it's peek..draws one closer to the creator I am sure.thanks for sharing
Bello, absolutamente bello y magnífico tu jardín. Ha de ser idílico, despertar observando ésa vista. Felicitaciones!

I just wanted you to know that I really appreciate your blog. Have been following you for a while, and I found myself looking through all your entries here. Your garden is so magical and dream like. I love it when you set out fairy-lights and makes bed canopies and all your living flowers, bordering to the forest! Kindest regards, Naviana www.naviana.blogg.no
