Hello everyone,
It was a beautiful sunny day here today so I enjoyed a nice walk and a skate on the pond.
Of course, a cup of tea is in order after a some fresh air.
So,I dug out my blue and white china today.
The china I used today came from an antique shop that has since closed down.
And once again, they are not matching but co-ordinate well.
This is the teapot pattern-in case anyone wants to know.
Biscuits always go well with a good cup of tea.
My husband bought me some pretty white tulips.
I got this iron thingy at a thrift shop awhile ago.
I am joining Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday again this week.
Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn

I love blue and white and your china is a gorgeous pattern. Tulips, Biscuits and Tea ... what could be better???!!! Happy Tea Day!
Hi Carolyn,
Thanks for joining me for tea today. Your blue and white china is wonderful. Love the white tulips too. Your biscuits look very flaky and I'm sure they taste lovely with a cup of tea after all that fresh air.
What a winter we're having!
Blessings,
Sandi
What a pretty pattern these cups are! So delicate. We haven't really had a major storm here yet either. We've had snow but no big old nor'easters for sure. But, we still have February and March to get through. :) It may happen yet!
Skating on the pond sounds so nice but sadly, my skating days are over. Enjoy!
I just love those tea-cups. Some are so pretty you just want to hold them and look at them closely. Those are like that. Beautiful. And tea-biscuits, my mother made the best in the world (I think). My favorite flower is the daisy and then the tulip so this post was heaven for me.
I love the shape to the teapot and creamer, Carolyn!
I absolutely love your Furnivals art nouveau tea set! Beautiful! My favorite style and era. What a lovely tablescape with the white tulips. Beautiful!

As always, your photography inspires me! Beautiful post
Lovely, Carolyn. The iron "thingy" is perfect with the tulips inside. Susan
So pretty, Carolyn! Wow...you haven't had any snowstorms at all? That's incredible! Although we've really only had three down here which is very unusual. And it's supposed to be in the low-40's all week! It's been a fabulous winter! :)

Your blue and white china is lovely. My father would really like this. He loves the color blue ;) :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather ;)
beautiful photos of beautiful china.
No snow here either. If you have to have white somewhere, I would rather have it in tulips!

Love the unique pattern of the blue and white teacups. Just a hint of art deco. Love them. Very pretty. Such gorgeous white tulips. I need to buy more fresh flowers!
Hi Carolyn,
as you said, the china matches perfect. The soft blue is so romantic on your photos. The tulips and bisquits add a bit of spring for me. Thank you for sharing your treasures and your wonderful photos.
Best greetings, Johanna

Kind Regards

Just one of my favorite flowers.. winter white tulips! Great choice and I so adore that pattern! If I could get the cups in larger first cup of the morning coffee.. then I'd have it made.
Hard to imagine no snow for you.. let's hope soon as I'm sure your water table is getting low by now.
warm hugs and love,
Cotton Peony
A beautiful combination of white and blue!
So pretty and delicate. And such a soft color of blue.
Hi Carolyn,
Your fine china from England is exquisite. The pattern is so beautiful as well as your tulips. It has been a rather unusual winter this year, but no complaining here :-)
Lovely china. And so different pattern on the cups.
I too have white tulips here but I had to buy them myself, lol.
What did they use that iron thingy for?
Hope you have a nice day.
Love Elzie
That's an exquisite pattern that I've never seen before. It looks sublime with the tulips. Skating sounds wonderful too. Not something I would ever be doing around my place. :)
You have the most beautiful china . This blue and white is gorgeous and I love love that teapot.
I think this is the prettiest blue pattern I've seen, Carolyn. So nice that you had sun and got to skate. How thoughtful of Andrew to buy you those dreamy tulips.
We, on our Island, had a wicked storm that dumped tons in 6 hours that wasn't forecasted. Midge was out in it a lunch time and said that it was the worst time he has ever driven in his life. Visibility was zero - lots of whiteouts and drifting, schools, colleges and businesses closed, even some streets andwe had to remove transit buses. Even the taxis closed. We waited out the storm before going home from our offices for the day, and by the time the day was done, all was over and it wasn't too bad getting home.
Snuggled up on the sofa now with a cuppa, a warm blankey straright outta the dryer and watching Coronation Street! Haha Gotta go, my cozy cat Monza is lying across my arms while I type, looking dreamily up toward my face. He is such a loving cat.
Sweet dreams...
