Home for Christmas

Hello everyone,
Hope you are still enjoying some holiday cheer and maybe a little rest from the hustle and bustle as well.I just have a few collages etc. to share with you today. The photo above is how we set up our  tables for dinner when our children and their families are all home for a family meal..There are 23 of us so it involves some rearranging of tables, chairs etc. It is more practical then fancy but it works good for us.
This is me playing with my new 50mm lens and anything that was in front of me was photographed- too bad you weren't here!
I love these pics of the little ones happily opening their Christmas gift from Grandma and Grandpa!
Some quiet moments
More of our Christmas tables-there is a small children's table in the muddle for a few wee ones.
Beautiful roses- a gift from my sister-in law.
My paperwhites bloomed just in time for Christmas.
A short depth of field pic of my teacups.

Still playing with my new lense!

I will be back soon with  a Year of Tea Parties post.

Take care,
Carolyn

Your pictures are so pristine and beautiful. You capture such beauty...I'm glad you blog and share it. Do your grandchildren set much store by the wonderful location you folks are in there on Prince Edward Island?

I just met a woman who drove up with a friend a year or so ago and she said it was all she hoped and more. There's a compliment for you...=) Merry Christmas! I've enjoyed my visit this morning.

Oh I wish I had a Christmas like yours with all these plates on the tables. It would be so nice with some children chattering around and opening their presents. But I guess that time will come when I can do that too.
Lovely pics as always, your new lenz works perfect, lol.
Hope you have a nice day.
Love Elzie

Hi Carolyn,

Yeah! I see the white sparkly Santa and child you were telling me about! It IS like the one I have on the mantel in our LR.

Wow! You're really getting the hang of your new lense that Santa knowingly brought you. :-) You must have been a very good girl this year. Lol Keep having fun and bringing us beautiful posts - no pressure, my friend! Haha

Hugs,
Linda
