A Cozy Corner

Hello everyone,
It is an amazing day her on the Island- warm and sunny especially for this time of the year.Anyway, As I was upstairs I noticed how nice the light was in this cozy corner.

And then I remembered that I had never shown you this chair that I bought at the 70 mile yard sale.Oh, and the best part is it was less then $30.
I also remembered that it was tea time.
This picture would be prettier if the fireplace was going but alas it has a small broken part so it is not working at the moment. So, you will have to imagine the glow in the fireplace for now.

So sit down and enjoy some quiet time with a book and a cup of tea.
I also remembered that a few of you asked for the recipe for Jen's delicious pumpkin cream muffins. Click here for the recipe.

Well,I have some bulbs to plant so I will leave you to sit and relax in my cozy corner!

I am joining Tea Time Tuesday at Rose Chintz Cottage today.

Have a lovely day,

Carolyn

Your chair was a splendid find, this looks a pleasant place to settle down with a pumpkin cream muffin, a nice hot drink and maybe spend an hour with a good book.

Hello Carolyn,
What a find; love that chair! You must have been there early because had I seen it, it would have come home with me! :)
Cozy spot for a cuppa tea. Thanks for joining me today. I've been down with a bug all day so I'm slow getting around. It would have been a lovely day in the garden.

Blessings,
Sandi

I'll definitely be checking out the pumpkin muffin recipe. Thank you for sharing.

Wasn't today's weather just scrumptious? The dogs and I loved it!

Have you thought about submitting your blog to Artful Blogging at Stampington.com? Have you ever bought one of their magazines? This months edition is splendid.

What a beautiful little corner to sit and relax in. That chair is gorgeous and such a bargain! You do find some great pieces.
I was at a friends this weekend, their daughter and her husband and baby live in Summerside. I showed them your lovely blog, they were fascinated by it. They showed us many photos of their vacation last year in PEI.
Hugs, Cindy

Hi Carolyn
The chair appears to be in perfect condition, you didn't have to do anything to it?
Cozy spots to curl up with a book are my favourite and your little corner is ideal.

Dear Carolyn,

What a delightful place to sit down and have your tea. Your daughter's muffin looks delicious. She must have got her talent for baking from her mum!

Happy day!
