What about you-are you looking forward to making your home warm and cozy for the Christmas season? I am pretty sure many of you are too!

Today I am joining Little Red House for Mosaic Monday.

Hello Carolyn
Look at you toasting your tootsies by the fire! I really like the golden glow to these photos, gives Christmas at your home a dreamy feel.
Still double digits and sunny here so it is hard to be motivated to dig out the Christmas decorations but a few magazines with a cup of tea might just do the trick.
Thanks for sharing your Christmas past.

Your photos are lovely, Carolyn. I have started decorating a little. It makes one's home a little cozier with the colder temperatures arriving. Can you believe the snow we got on the weekend? I'm happy to be seeing the grass again today.

Blessings,
Sandi

Oh, squeally, squeakity squeak! Carolyn, you just zapped me with joy!

We got snow, this year, on the twenty-seventh of October and, again, two days later. It jump started me into the Christmas season, although, in the States, we're supposed to wait till the day after Thanksgiving (the third Thursday of November, for us - but you probably knew that.)

Of course, my middle name is Christmas =] but, since we moved, four years ago, I've hardly been able to decorate or really spend much time on Christmas in my home. Because of different circumstances, every year, it's been simply basics... and a lot of joy in the basics but what I'm trying to say is....last year, something a bit painful happened and I didn't have a chance to decorate my tree (at least it was up) until four days after Christmas! Don't you know, I lived vicariously through you, last December!!! =D

So, now, it gives me a personal joy to see these photos. Silly, I know, but there it is!;)

Well, between the snow and your inspiring images - I am in the mood with a spring in my step! Thanks ever so much!

Love,

Katy Noelle xo

Dear Carolyn,

Your house looks so warm and welcome. I love the yellow glow that shines from the lights and candles.

Dad was operated for the 2nd time last week. They removed more cancer cells. Hopefully everything is gone now. We will know in a weeks time. He lost some weight before his 1st operation, but luckily gained some in the weeks before the 2nd operation. He did look very good when I fetched him from the hospital last week. I hope the worse is over now.

How is your mother doing?

Lieve groet & happy new week,

Madelief x

I well remember how magical your home was last year, Carolyn. Like a beautiful Christmas dream filled with wonder. I can't wait to see what you create this year!

I'm not sure we'll be doing a lot of decorating this year. Catching up from all the travel will be a big accomplishment! So it will be wonderful to share yours.

Thanks for your kind comment – it was very special to meet Maria Cecilia. – g

Carolyn,
Beautiful post. You should make your Christmas blog into a book. I am sure you know there are websites to do that. Blog2Book is one, I think.
It would make a wonderful family treasure. And I'm sure lots of us would enjoy it too!

Just beautiful, Carolyn. Your photos give me a warm, cozy feeling - they are so comforting.

Your Holiday House Tour for Muscular Dystrophy on December 10th and A Christmas Tea For Lucas here in my home on December 11th promises to be a memorable weekend. We will have to share notes and pics from an island-to-an-island, for sure, m'dear! Lol

I'm back from Toronto and will email you soon...I arrived home only hours ago but had to get my 'fix' before going to bed! haha

Hugs,
