Hello everyone,

A touch of frost adds some sparkle to the roses.
This is a second flowering for these pretty pink lupins.
My pretty chintz teacup with a pink dahlia from the garden.
My good friend Linda at Beautiful Ideas is having her first giveaway so please pop in and check it out.

Good Morning Carolyn!Your roses are gorgeous! But the dew makes them special.
ReplyDeleteHappy October. Gilda
Your roses are exquisite!
ReplyDeleteFantastic!!! Just love this!
ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn!
ReplyDeleteI could never tire of seeing your roses. They almost look good enough to eat with the sweet touches of glittery frost - like sugar flowers! I wish there was a way to preserve them like this.
And, I never knew that lupins could have a second flowering!!! Do you happen to know the name of the pink variety that you have?! Your green thumb never ceases to amaze me! I'm going to be searching for them at the garden centres next season! They are so luscious. The lupins, not the thumbs. Haha Well, maybe the thumbs, too!!!
It's 23 degrees here today - with the humidity factor, it must be close to 30. It's too hot to go outside on Oct. 1st - can you imagine. I fear it's the calm before Hurricane Ophelia.
Not long back from Pat's Plants and Gardens where we did a photo shoot and presented a cute giant cheque to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation-Atlantic for $2,500 raised from Garden Pink Days. We're thrilled and looking forward to it being bigger and better next gardening season!
Thank you for all your feel-good posts (which, BTW, is your every post) and thank you, too, for mentioning the give-away...I'll reveal it soon.
Your post today is making me crave pink marshmallows for some reason...SMILE. Enjoy the weekend.
Hugs,
Linda at Beautiful Ideas
I love your Pink Saturday! Wonderful Photos. Brrrrr... you've already got frost?! That's quit early, isn't it.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day
Alex
I love Saturdays, lots of Pinktastic stuff to see. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pink!
ReplyDeleteMy Pink is here, hope you can come by and see. Have a great week weekend!
I can almost smell the roses from here. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had a frost yet Carolyn, but your roses look beautiful all frosty! We are supposed to have frost by Wed. and I don't think I'm ready to let the vegetables go by the wayside.
ReplyDeleteI have been busy this past week moving a few things around in the garden and getting some weeding done. I couldn't believe how out of shape I was and how sore I got. Better get out there and do more so I can get back into shape.
sending hugs...
So beautiful.. Thank for your flowers! I can never be tired.

Hi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteYour roses look beautiful with the layer of frost on them. Hope you had a wonderful weekend?! It was warm and sunny in Holland. We spent a delightful day in the garden with my parents.
Wish you a happy new week!

ReplyDeleteCarolyn, your pinks are so dreamy. I never tire of seeing your roses. Love the chintz teacup too. Lots of rain coming our way the few days eh? We've had our pellet stove on a few times already.
