In a Golden Light

Hello everyone,
We have been having such beautiful summer weather here that I want to enjoy every possible minute of it.So,I have set another table out in the garden today.
I picked the flowers for our bouquet from the garden.
We are using the teapot my husband gave me a few years ago.
The candle chandelier from Wicker Emporium.
A golden chenille bedspread is used here as a tablecloth.
The golden netting is from our bedroom.
The set of dishes was $40. and it has a lot of pieces.
The color is washed out here a little.
I love the Limelight hydrangeas.
The name of the china-just in case you wanted to know.
Have a seat!

I hope you enjoy the golden light of the late summer garden!

This evening I went with a friend to Midnight in Paris and really enjoyed it-the blackberry cream pie we had afterwards was really good too!

I am joining Between Naps on the Porch again for Tablescape Thursday.

Thank you for visiting me,

Carolyn

So beautiful! You could publish your own magazine and I would subscribe. Are your white hydrangeas in the photos "Limelight?" I see your white mounds of David phlox in the background too. The weather has cooled some here which gets us back out in the gardens.

Hi Carolyn,
I have been here the past fifteen minutes just savoring the posts I have missed here and walking through your gardens with my mouth gaping open
Don't you love this late summer light? I love the way it makes everything glow too.
I couldn't believe the beauty I saw in your Through the Garden Gate post. Oh my gosh, your gardens are amazing. Dale sat with me while I scrolled through it and he is in awe as well. Loves it. Your Flower Power post was drool worthy.
I cannot let so much time go by and not see this beauty. I'm not on the computer much these days so i love coming and catching up with you.
hugs from here...

What a wonder place for a garden party and I love your china, so, so pretty. I love your gardens with the sweeping green paths. I made my hubby take a look at them. I am trying to inspire some news ideas. I am always happy to see a new post from you.

This is a garden setting that dreams are made of! I know that is improper grammar, but it was the most romantic way to express how beautiful this setting is! The netting (from your bedroom??!?!...wow!) is gorgeous! When I saw the candle chandelier it made me long for all those I foolishly sold when I closed my shop. Why, oh, WHY did I do that??? The pain meds must have been doing my thinking for me! You got a wonderful bargain on those lovely dishes. Congrats on that! This is all just so, so pretty!!! Thank you for stopping by Table Twenty-One early this morning, and have a blissful weekend!

Dear Carolyn,

Happy to hear that you and your daughters had a good time together! I enjoyed looking at your beautiful table and china. I think we are very much alike :-)!

Dad is recovering rapidly, but unfortunately has to undergo a new operation. They found some new polyps that have to be removed. I hope he will be clean after that.

Lieve groet, Madelief x
