Mosaic Moments

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all having a good day. I have some mosaics I would like to share with you today. The one above is from our trip to Nova Scotia last week. the three churches at the top is in Mahone Bay one of my favorite places to go in Nova Scotia. The ship was in the harbor in Pictou where we stopped on our way to the ferry and of course the boys on the ferry are our grandson's.

Whenever we go to Halifax we always enjoy a stroll through the public gardens there. They are beautiful in all seasons.
Now, a little peek at our garden as they are becoming more lush each day.

Our lilacs are in full bloom now and soon it will be the peonies!

As many of you know we have been having tours from Japan the last several years and we are delighted to have them again this year. We had a rainy day tour yesterday but with umbrellas in tow we still enjoyed our tour.
and we have had sunny day tours!
Some closeups of what is blooming in our garden now.

I hope you enjoyed these mosaic moments and I will have more to share soon.

Thank you for visiting and for all your kind words of encouragement!

Take care,
Carolyn

What beautiful photo collages. The garden is looking just wonderful and the colourful umbrellas add a certain artistic narrative.

What a fasinating picture of the three churches. Why are there three so close together: perhaps they are three different denominations?

Hi Carolyn,

It must be fun giving tours and having all those ladies admiring your beautiful garden! It must be a lot of work though, serving them all tea and cakes. You made everything look really inviting!!

Lieve groet,

Madelief x

Hello my dear friend !
Your mosaics are really so beautiful! And we see that despite the rain the Japanese had a smile! How could we not have a place as pretty and flowery! Good week and see you soon!

Hi Carolyn,

Beautiful scenery from Nova Scotia and Halifax. Three churches in a row, I bet there is an interesting story there. Your garden is always so wonderful to look at. I hope your japanese friends were satisfied despite the bad weather.

I think your daughter is right! You had to have the new tea-set ;)

Have a nice day,
Sanna

You always do so a superb job creating your photo mosaics, Carolyn! I love the Public Gardens and Spring Garden Rd. shops in Halifax. Whenever we go, we try and stay at the Lord Nelson Hotel - it is perfectly situated. Thank you for bringing me back to a lovely stroll in the park...
