Oh, let the Sun Shine In !

Hello everyone,
We had a beautiful sunny day today and oh what a difference it makes to have lovely sunshine steaming in. We haven't had a lot lately so it is particularly welcome when it is bright and sunny.

I love the golden glow in our bedroom when the sun shines in.

enjoy breakfast in the sunshine

I took this photo on a walk around town. I love how the sun was shining into the sun porch but most of all I love the doggy in the window!

Here is a bright and sunshiny bouquet of roses for you to enjoy. Thank you for all your kind words of encouragement on my post yesterday and welcome to all you new followers -you made my day full of sunshine!

Take care,

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn!
Letting your personality shine is what it's all about!!! And you do a great job at this through your pictures.

Really like the pic of the books on the bed and the light streaming through.

Also the doggy in the window!

Your pink chair is so delightful!
Lovely photos! I'm glad you got some sunshine at last! We have had sun everyday for ages now, it may cloud up and snow then clear up again all in one day. Love it!

The warmth shining in your windows would make you forget about the winter weather outside. Each photo you've shared shows such artistry in bringing together a collection of treasured things. It's a lovely glimpse of your beautiful home.

Obviously you are enjoying the sunshine. Just amazing photos as always. I know that Spring is not far for you. Here in N FL we have been enjoying some gorgeous weather with our azaleas just about ready to bust open. My fear is that they will begin to bloom and we will have another late cold snap. In the mean time I am going to continue to enjoy our glourious weather and hopefully you will be doing the same soon and back into your garden.

Carolyn,

You ought to publish your photos in your own magazine or book.

If you want to have a book or magazine similar to JoAn Colleti and others, you can go to Mag Cloud, a company that publishes your book online. You just sign up and start writing your book or magazine. The cost is not huge, and you can get as good a quality as a book with the mag cloud. I ordered one of the magazines from them and it was absolutely beautiful. It all depends on how stunning your own photographs are. I am planning to use it for a craft and sewing magazine when i get my projects finished. I'd really recommend it. The magazine I bought was called Creating Vintage Charm. You could order one to find out what the quality is like. Every page is nice and thick and it is much better than a magazine and you can make it as many pages or as few pages as you like. Someone bought me JoAn Colletti's magazine and it was just beautiful, full of her own paintings and projects.

Dear Carolyn,

Just read your post about your photo's being selected for the Norwegian book. Such an honour!!! Congratulations! You must be really excited how it will look like. I hope you will show us in time.

I am happy to see that you have sunshine and blue skies. It helps so much after all those dark and grey days. We had a cold but sunny day today as well. You you get so much energy from it. I hope it will continue for a little while longer!

Enjoy your evening!

Lieve groet, Madelief

I've felt the sun coming back, this week, too! So soft! So light and bright! (Okay, it's showing up a bit of dust, here and there, too.=]) Monday, we had a terrible sleet, rain, freezing rain storm. It was SO dark. SO depressing! I didn't even want to set a toe outside. The whole world was drowning in white frozeness. Then, the storm cleared out and there they were - Big puffy March clouds! After a week of clouds, the tilt and strength of the sun has increased and we've had three GLORIOUS days. All this to say, "I'm with you on this one!!!" =]

Love, Katy
