Hello everyone,
Last weekend we had several inches of snow come down with no wind so we truly did have a winter wonderland right outside our door so come along for a walk with me.
For those of you who are new here, this is our little garden cottage covered in snow.
Our garden terrace where we enjoy meals in the summer.
This is to show how much snow came down on our balcony.
Our woods looks pretty covered with snow.
Word on the street is we are getting more snow tomorrow.
I hope you didn't mind me taking you for a walk in our winter wonderland - I promise not to show you anymore snow for the rest of the week!
Take care,
Carolyn
HELLO CAROLYN :)

Beautiful...summer or winter..it is gorgeous, isn't it? And your little "house" looks so lovely all snugged in by the snow for winter. We have snow too...and more coming. Diana
ReplyDeleteOh Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteThe snow you have must be on the path here as we are expecting close to 18" of snow...I for sure will be out with my camera too as I love how the snow changes evey thing..All schools have been cancelled and a flake has yet to fall. It will be quiet all night as the snow falls and we will wake to a blanket of white..
Beautiful pictures..so perfect!
Smile,
Shirley
Oh Carolyn. Your home and grounds look like something out of Dr. Zhivago. I expect Yurii and Lara to come around the corner in their horse drawn sleigh. Ohhhhhh, you captured the essence of winter magnificence.
ReplyDeleteI'll be capturing some of it tomorrow as we are supposed to get whomped with up to 18 inches! Yikes. I'm ready start the logs in the fireplace so we'll keep toasty warm.
Thanks for sharing. Susan
Now that's beautiful! I always feel like Anne of Green Gables when I visit your blog!

Wow Carolyn, This is amazing, so perfect, pure magic! Tiny flakes are falling here. My early bulbs might be peeking out, but they will grow slow, we have lots more snow to come:-) It sure lifts my spirts though:-)

Carolyn, your snowy pictures are so pretty. You received a lot more snow than we did last weekend and I think you will tomorrow too. We always seem to be on the outer edge of the storms - so far :-) Stay cozy.

Breathtaking! Thank you for the walk through your Wonderland! Looks like a dreamy place to go for a stroll!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn I could look at these pictures all day long. Everything at your place is beautiful in the snow. No matter what the weather, your gardens are lovely. We are to get snow the end of this week too. I am just hoping that the wind doesn't come with it. It took us forever to dig out of the last snowfall.
ReplyDeleteAlways a pleasure to come here and walk in the snow with you.
hugs
Don't worry Carolyn. We are never tired with your snowy pictures ! All the pleasure is ours, be sure of that.

ReplyDeleteSnow transforms everything doesn't it? Even the most ordinary things look beautiful when they have a cloak of white covering them. Not that your garden is ordinary:) It does indeed, as Mari says, look like something out of a fairy tale.
