Happy Pink Saturday!

Happy Pink Saturday!

I think some of you know that I love teacups and have a pretty good assortment of them. So since it is Pink Saturday I dug out a couple of pretty pinks.

I love the sunshine that we had today after the storm yesterday, it wasn't really a blizzard type of storm like we used to get in the good old days but I know a few little ones who were happy to have a day off from school anyway!

I went up to the sunroom today and gave it a little spring color and enjoyed the warm rays of sun in there.

I took my pretty pink and white china out of the cupboard in there and had a lovely cup of tea.
Those poor little tulips are on their last days but they are a couple of weeks old so it is time for a fresh bouquet.

I love this dainty creamer.

This hyacinth gives of such a sweet fragrance and reminds me of spring.
Don't they look pretty in this cloche?

The pink and white flowered teacup belonged to my husband's aunt. so it is a little reminder of the good times we had with her. The other teacup is one I found at a thrift shop and I love it too.

Usually I am asked about the dark pink teacup when I show it so this is the markings on the bottom.

I do love making collages- maybe you noticed!

Well Happy Pink Saturday and I hope you have enjoyed visiting other participants at How Sweet the Sound. Thank you Beverly for hosting!

Enjoy your weekend,

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn, Beautiful pink teacups. They look so pretty in the mosaic. Please send some of your sunshine, I have not seen it for many days. Take care and have a great weekend.

Carolyn, both tea cups are gorgeous. They each have their own special details. The thrift store find has gorgeous color and depth, but the little flowered one has such a beautiful shape and delicate pink. Both are very special. ~ Sarah

I must tell you that each post is a treat to visit , so many beautiful things to see , the dishes are gorgeous and your displays are like something from a magazine . I also really enjoyed your winter scenes of the island , I have visited PEI every year in summer since a young child when we would camp at Stanhope or Brackley such wonderful memories, but I had never seen it in winter so those pictures to me were wonderful and I appreciate you sharing .

Now Carolyn, you MUST keep inspiring me; I have beaucoup cups, but never have I thought to display them this way; in fact just two weeks ago I almost bought the tall glass stand with dome (cake cover for lack of better word) because I needed to add height to the area, but I didn't know what I'd put in it.. C'est damage - sigh -- and then Voila! Beaucoup Merci, Madame Carolyn teacups! Who knew? C'est la vie; Bonjour bonne amie -- Terri www.morningdewdrops.typepad.com

I am in love with the Ellesmere teacup..."Ellesmere" is a place in Shropshire, England I believe and as it's near Wales, I wonder if that isn't the Welsh Dragon around the cup. MMMM...

So enjoyed these photos today and the newer post showing your garden. A great lift to the spirit. Thank you.

Our canvas printing is a wonderful feature in the world today. We as a business take pride in our product but it’s not only photo printing on canvas that brings life to your living room its that fact that its stretched around quality stretcher bars that give the canvas frame its depth and 3d feeling effect.

Carolyn,

I'm finally getting around to some of the ladies I missed on last Pink Saturday's posts.

I love your beautiful photos. They are outstandingly lovely. Thank you for sharing so much eye candy, especially all the teacups. One of my favorite things to collect.

Come by and visit me this weekend. Lots of pink pretties for Pink Saturday.
