Porch Pleasures

Hello everyone,
It is another beautiful day here and I am enjoying it so much. The garden is in such glorious color and hummingbirds are zipping around from flower to flower and butterflies are fluttering about.
I have lots of photos I want to share but today I thought you might like to see some of our little porch.
This hall stand belonged to my parents many years ago. It was stained a dark color and I painted it ivory.
I love hydrangeas in all colors.
I love hats and often wear them in the garden.
I take pleasure in seeing the sun shining in on this little corner of our porch.
Today, I am joining with Cielo for Show off your Cottage Monday at the House in the Roses and also Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday.
I have lots more to share so I will be back tomorrow and I hope you will too!
Thanks for visiting ,
Carolyn

Ciao Carolyn!

"Oh how I love hats"... I'm so very happy that I'm from a generation that used them... Funny thing is I hated to actually wear the hats, BUT LOVED them anyway... I still love to buy hats although now they are garden hats in the fashion of "Your Beautiful Ones on this post"... and I DO love to supply my visitors with them as they come to explore my gardens... AH, thank you for your wonderful post and the memory your hats sparked for me...

The hall stand from your parents is quite lovely in the cream colour and a great place to hang your gardening hats. I've often wished I somewhere for mine but the good ones stay in a hat box and the less expensive ones get thrown in my office.
I always enjoy the flowers you share with us.

Carolyn the gozy hat on your hat stand is perfect for my son's wedding. It is an outdoor wedding and I do not like the sun on my head. Is it vintage? I would love a picture to show to a hat maker here in Ontario. Your porch mosaic is beautiful. Take care and have a lovely week.

HI Carolyn,

Oh, thanks for sharing part of your home with us. I love hydrangeas. In fact, I was at the hospital last Saturday...NO worries, I was just parked in the parking lot, so I could dash across the street to a yard sale!!!!...but as I was driving around I saw some beautiful hyndrangeas...so of course I had to take a photo and create a collage. I posted about it a few days ago!!! I love the pink hydrangeas you show in these photographs!!! Have a great week. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
