Spring Colors

Hello everyone,

It has been good weather for working in the garden lately so I am enjoying the privilege of being outdoors surrounded by all the beauty of nature . The garden changes almost daily at this time of the year as the many colors of spring burst forth.

Later in the season I don't have much orange or bright yellow in the garden but in the spring I enjoy this color combination in one section of the garden.

Our garden is filling in and I will soon show photos of the overall garden but right now it still has some bare spots .

Isn't this a beauty?

I hope you enjoyed seeing some spring color in our garden.

Thank you for all the lovely comments yesterday on my Victorian Tea .I am hoping to do a spring garden tea soon.

Thanks for the visit,

Carolyn

Love the colors in your spring garden. The weather here is still too cool to be outside for long. But soon we will be back in the garden. Take care.

I am having a very happy time taking closeup photos of flowers. Somehow, when I'm actually with them, I want to look at the whole picture. When I take the photo, I spend time looking at all of the intricate color washing and veins and ruffles of the blooms and leaves. You take wonderful photographs. I really enjoy your mosaics too. It feeds the spirit, that's for sure.

I want to stay closer to reflective colors (as in, make you think and feel calm) in my garden - blues and deeper reds and whites. I have a hard time picking out an orange or yellow at the nursery or in the seed catalog. But, "oh, Momma!" When those oranges and yellows go, I do love them! Well, I have a plan. We'll see if it works.

Love, katy

Hi Carolyn,
Blogger is being very contrary today and isn't allowing me to leave comments but I'm going to try again. Your garden is looking very perky and pretty with its bright flowers. Must be such a joy to stroll through it every day and see the wonderful sights unfolding. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a lovely day.

Blessings,
Sandi

Nice to see your garden growing again! it's hard to believe the winter has passed so quickly and another season of enjoying your garden is here.

Do you open your garden tours to the pubic or only to special groups?

Love this pretty colour combination! Our tulips and daffs are finished now so it's nice to see them still blooming in your garden.

Great to see the bulbs around a second time as your season is behind ours. But it sure is lovely and enjoy your outdoor activities!

The garden is so exciting at the moment - changing every day. It's such a thrill to see things I planted settling in and making a home where I put them. xx
