Hello everyone,
We have been busy lately so I have been absent a bit but I thought I would show you a little change that it completed. Some of you may remember the pretty set of old china I bought a couple of months ago. So now I will show you where they are displayed now.
The teapot my husband gave me happens to match the dishes nicely.
I painted the cupboard that was gold before. It is Victoriana(Ralph Lauren )the same color as our newly painted woodwork. The wall behind the cupboard is also new.
I bought this guy at Winners recently to go on top of the cupboard.
We painted the new bookcases in the background and I enjoyed putting our books in them but they do need some tweaking yet. Next week I will show you a little more of what we have done. My husband said tonight that I seem to thrive on change! That was a compliment- wasn't it sweetie??? Tomorrow is going to be another nice warm day and I am going to be in the garden !!!
I am joining in with Cindy at My Romantic Home for Show and Tell Friday again this week.
I hope you all have a great weekend,
Carolyn

Dear Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteyour china is so beautiful! And you have a lot of different kinds of china. The cupboard also is very nice. It is a lot of work to paint but I do at the moment the same, another colour for all cupboards in my room and a new floor and carpet and window clothes and so on. I hope I get it ready soon!:-))

Dear Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteYour house looks even more beautiful then it did before with the changes. I did not think that was possible, because to me it was already perfect! The white cupboard with the china is very pretty and so are the bookcases. I must have told you before, but the way you built your bookcases is exactly how I would love to have them in our living room.
Wish you a happy weekend! We have an afternoon tea planned on sunday and I will be in the kitchen the coming days.
Enjoy the sun!
Lieve groet, Madelief
Everything looks so beautiful. What a great job you had done.

Dear Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteYour cupboard is gorgeous! I love the color you painted it! The china is beautiful, sweet little birdie too, and I love how you have it all displayed. The statue looks so pretty atop your cupboard and your new bookcases are wonderful! I love change too! Thank you for sharing all you have been doing! I hope you enjoy your beautiful garden tomorrow! Love, Paula
Oh, heavens, how pretty! Just, super pretty! I love the built in bookshelves. We might have some in our future but Mr. Tom's inside projects got cut short by the early spring. He's making hay while the sun shines. Rats! Actually, dusting and arranging my china cabinet is a project that I'm in the middle of. I've gotten waaaaay sidetracked by cleaning boys' rooms! I think that you've inspired me to get back to it!
ReplyDeleteLove, Katy Noelle
Beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDelete:)God Bless
