I just popped in to share some SPRING sunshine with you. It is a beautiful warm and sunny day here and I am excited because we were able to get out into our garden and do a little early cleanup. Now, these pictures are NOT this years garden yet, but soon I hope. Right now everything is pretty brown and there are only a few crocus blooming but we are way ahead of last year at this time.
We did some clean up in here and put our table and chairs back in as this is a sheltered place to enjoy some early spring beauty. I planted a few dozen new Angelique tulips in here last fall

Our hillside garden has hundreds of daffodils-this is the one part of the garden that still has snow.
Can't wait for spring color in the garden!

Your pictures from last year are excellent. I don't have too many daffodils, it is a bit back breaking planting them!! I have cut some today as the wind and rain had got to them. I still have a few to come out in the front garden and they are lovely ones with pink inside, I bought them for breast cancer about three years ago. I hope I get to photograph them and post them on my blog. I am looking forward to seeing your beautiful garden this year, hope your snow clears away soon. Enjoy the weekend, Jackie in UK.

Beautiful garden. This first day of spring finds snow on the prairie -- 5 inches and it's still snowing! Definitely not what I had in mind for spring!

Beautiful. Can't wait to see this year's spring garden. I planted angelique tulips with tall white tulips at my former home and they were stunning the first year but neither were that reliable in subsequent years. Will be interested to know how yours do. I had between 800-1,000 tulips at my former home and intended to have more than that once I moved and began a new garden. But, after the first spring when the deer ate everything I'd planted I realized I'll have to rely on daffodils and other "deer-resistant" early bloomers for my spring garden. I REALLY miss tulips.

Carolyn, it is all so very beautiful. We are feeling the sweet anticipation of spring, too. Our daffodils are blooming, and our camellias are still blooming.
Oh, and when I got home from work last night, I noticed our pear tree is blooming.
I just keep scrolling down and seeing photo after photo of such unbelievable beauty!! Absolutely gorgeous!!
