Mosaic Monday

Hello and welcome to my Mosaic Monday. The above mosaic is some of my grandchildren enjoying some winter fun.

Some Island winter scenes.

Little Lila turned one year old on Friday-she wasn't feeling the best so I am hoping to get more photos when she is well again. It is hard to believe a year has gone by already -She makes me smile just looking at her!

I found this cute little Ralph Lauren smocked dress at a thrift shop and I couldn't wait to see it on Jessie, our 41/2 year old granddaughter. She came for a visit today and we set up for a little tea party. She is a good little model so I captured lots of pictures of her.

Well, we missed another snowstorm this weekend but I see where lots of you got a freshly painted winter wonderland. Speaking of painting our living room is getting a makeover so I will share pictures later when it is done.

There is lots to see at Mary's beautiful Little Red House so enjoy all the lovely mosaics.

Thank you for visiting,

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,

You have beautiful granddaughters!! Jessie looks like she is modelling for a magazine. There is still a lot of snow on your island! Beautiful blue skies though. I didn't know that it was so hilly either. It looks a bit like England!! Hope I can visit one day :-)

Happy evening!

Lieve groet, Madelief

Your grandchildren are so beautiful Carolyn. Everytime you post photos of them I can actually get a sense of how you adore them. They must just love coming to your house. Your pictures of them are always so gorgeous!
It doesn't seem that you have as much snow this year as last year. Is that so? We haven't had near the snowfall we usually have. The storms just keep going around us and when they do come we only get a couple of inches. We are used to feet.
My dried hydrangeas that I have been showing on my blog are the limelight, and depending on when I pick them, (which can be tricky for drying, as you know)determines their color. Several posts back I I did a post of them after they had froze on the bush and they were a brownish and sepia toned bloom. I love all my varieties of hydrangeas, but my faves for drying are the limelight.
Enjoy your catalogues. I usually don't buy through the catalogues, but go to their websights for what's new for the year.
