I love the elegance of these creamy white bath time products. The pitcher and bowl was a gift from my Dad many years ago. He bought it at an auction sale for me.
This is a little soy candle-did you know that soy candles have a lot fewer harmful chemicals in them then regular candles.
pretty soap and lace

Does anyone recognize this ornament from the new Victoria magazine-if it is good enough for Matthew Mead it is good enough for me! Did you see the new issue-I love it!
epsom salts with lavender under the candle-smells so good in the bath!
I hope you enjoyed some touches of white elegance today!
Take care,
Carolyn

Hi Carolyn
Just looking at your blog relaxes me,to have a bath with the cocnut lime bath oil and the candle burning would be wonderful. I would love to see the Victoria magazine, I will see if I can find it online!! Jackie
You have quite a knack for photographing such beautiful vignettes. I am always drawn to whites - - so serene.
I strayed away from simple, white, and pretty in terms of bath accessories...but your post makes me want to go back! They're so beautiful, and I agree with Angela - you really do have a knack for lovely vignettes.
Yes I enjoyed reading the new V issue yesterday. I always think you need to be in that magazine! I love especially the little candle sitting in the bath salts(?)
...so pretty!
Carolyn,
The white elegance is beautiful.
The more I see these soft colors...the more I know I luv it!
You have helped me to luv these soft colors and white...so pleasant and pretty.
I need to go through my new Victoria magazine. My daughter kidnapped it before I got to read it...maybe it's magnapping!
Sending my love and best wishes to you,
d from homehaven
Incredibly beautiful.
I look forward to your blog every day - it is my favorite!
Hi Carolyn,
Beautiful whites! The pitcher and bowl must be very special to you. I never heard of soy candles before, but if there are less chemicals inside it is worth buying them!
Fijne dag! Lieve groet, Madelief
So serene, so relaxing.

Carolyn,
Beautiful vignettes. It all seems so calming -- exactly what you want in a bathroom.
I love your blog. You always have such elegant photographs showcasing your home. I am new to blogging but will be returning to yours.

Carolyn, the title of this post says it all. Just looking at these lovely photos relaxes me, and I'm not feeling well today. This was sheer delight. I so wish I had know about Aiken House when we traveled to Prince Edward Island two summers ago. Makes me want to plan a return trip. ~ Sarah
Hi Carolyn, your photos are lovely as usual.
Have a nice day.
Hi Carolyn Lovely photos but I especially love the picture and bowl
Thank you for your beautiful blog site. I'm new to the blogging world, and I'm getting so much inspiration from all you creative souls out there.
I'm from Iowa, but we visited your enchanting island in 2002. We drove our camper with 4 children and our dog to explore your magnificent PEI!! I can't wait to come back.
Happy Winter,
Nancy
Oh Carolyn, that is such a lovely vignette that you have created! So picture worthy, too. I could almost smell it! Hugs, Cindy S.
It's so beautiful Carolyn! I think I'm going to redo my main bathroom in creams and whites. After seeing this I feel even more inspired!
Loved everything about white elegance,Carolyn, but, especially, the angel soap. How very darling! Thank you so much for sharing. Also loved the You Are My Hero playing in the background!Sincerely, Susan at writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com
Hi Colrolyn
Love the look/
I will have to try soy candles and epson salys I use all the time in the bath. I also use my lavender with the epson salts.
I couldn't help but notice your ironstone pitcher has a wheat pattern on it. I love that pattern. You have a wonderful memory of your father every time you look at the bowl and pitcher.

I love every bit of your white elegance! I did not know that soy candles were so much better. I love Tag and Root candles for their long burning capacity but will try to find soy next time.
