Our Winter Garden

Hi everyone,

I hope you enjoyed your weekend. On Saturday,it was mild here and I planted the last of my tulips and even picked a small bouquet of pansies but overnight we had our first real snowfall for this winter. It is beautiful to see the trees covered as well as the ground of course. I love winter pictures so I went out with my camera to take some photos of our winter garden. It is mosaic Monday so I made a few mosaic's so I could join in the fun at The Little Red House again.

I looked out the window and saw Mr.Fox outside so I quickly got a shot of him.

I hope Audrey isn't too cold out there!

This morning when I went out this little woodpecker and I had a close encounter.

The sun is shining this morning giving a different look to the garden. One of the joys of a winter garden is it is all God's handiwork and all I have to do is sit back and admire it!

I would like to thank all of you lovely ladies who took the time to leave a nice comment either here or on the Houzz blog. I really appreciate all your kind words and support.

Now ,I am going to head over to Mary's lovely Little Red House and see what other's have been up to. Thank you Mary for hosting-I always enjoy it!

Take care,
Carolyn

Your mosaics and photos are magical Carolyn, it is always so wonderful to "wake up to snow". We have to drive up to Tahoe to get our fix but my hubby just called and said it actually snowed in the bay area this morning :-).

These are lovely snow covered pictures that you have shared.

Always a pleasure to see what your world is like year round.

We're suppose to get about 6" of snow tonight. Well, I will enjoy it once it's here as I can stay in a warm home.

God bless,

It is like peace and quiet has come to the garden after the first snowfall. Everything has settled in for a long winter's nap. Your photo's are wonderful. I so enjoyed your interview with the Magazine this weekend. Sharon

Hello Carolyn
You got more snow than we did although our daugter in North Bay ended up with lots of it.
Your snowy photos of the property have a peaceful feeling to them.

There's a special silence to snow. You know before you've looked out of the window that it's fallen during the night. Absolutely beautiful photos. A real wonderland. xx

Oh, what a beautiful winter wonderland...I ♥ the first real snowfall of the year, before the sun starts to melt it or anyone walks on it! After that I just pray for warm weather...

Your snowy pictures are very beautiful, especially with the sunrise colors. Great picture of the fox. He looks extremely puffed up against the cold. We have Gray Fox here on our farm and always enjoy seeing them.

Carolyn....You really did have a snowfall! Looks like a winter wonderland! We are expecting a winter storm here in Ohio in the next day or so with 50 mile an hour winds. I am not liking that part of it! Anyway, your garden looks so pretty in the snow!~Patti
