Hello everyone,
I don't have a theme today so it is just a little of this and that again.
A little vignette
A great spot for a cup of tea on a cold day, beside the wood pellet stove that is going day and night this time of the year.
one of my favorite tree ornaments
We did get our tree up a couple of days ago- it is a real spruce tree so we can't put it up too soon.Love the fragrance that hits as soon you walk indoors.
Yesterday was perfect snowman weather-mild with wet snow.
Right Sam?
As many of you know we are blessed with nine grandchildren who all live close by so they are in and out on a regular basis. Sam is our second grandchild , he is nine years old and such a sweetie! I hope you enjoyed a little of this and that and enjoy your day.
Take care,
Carolyn

Hi Carolyn
I love to see inside and outside your house anytime!!
The Xmas tree looks marvellous as does the snow.
We are expecting light snow tomorrow which is fairly early for us in the UK but it is very cold here.
Your house always looks so warm , but the thought of the wood pellet fire sounds even more warming.
Jackie.
How beautiful Carolyn! I'm loving seeing your lovely home.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia;)
Carolyn, your home looks like an enchanted wonderland.
I have a grandson I adore, too. He will be eleven this week. He is my one and only.
Hi Carolyn,
Oh what a beautiful Christmas tree and so full!! The house looks so warm with all the decorations. The jug with the flowers is very pretty too as is your dining room and the room with the wood pellet fire...

Hi Carolyn,
your photos are beautiful as usual.
Your house is incredible, very cozy and charming.
Hugs,
Federica.
Hi Carolyn,
What a wonderful home you have to decorate! I love the scent of real evergreens and I would love to have it in my home but then I wouldn't be able to have the tree up as long as I do. Next year I think I will bring in some boughs and then I can at least enjoy that. This year of course, we're going to be traveling right after Christmas and I don't need a lot to clean up before we leave.
I love your little sheep and the teacup tree!
Looks like your Sam is having fun.
Have a wonderful week and Merry Christmas!
Christmas blessings,
Sandi
Yea a snowman. Looks like loads of fun. Your home is stunning.
It all looks so beautiful! I love the tree in the teacup! That snowman is so adorable and so is your grandson! He did such a great job!
I have the same shoe ornament - it's my favorite too. Everything looks so pretty around your home. Nicely done.
I just adore you home Carolyn! It's always a treat to visit your blog!! Thanks for sharing pictures with us!!

I can't believe you have all that snow already! Here we are having a lot of what we call "pea soup"--drizzle, fog, humidity and not very cold like it was a few days ago. You never know what the weather will be here each day!
Just beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Carolyn, a lovely Sam with the snowman perfectly made!!! I love, love your christmas decor, specially that teacup with the little tree in... and oh the white angel is wonderful!!
I would like to wish you a very happy christmas together with the ones you love and love you.

Carolyn, its always a visual feast to visit your blog and see the beauty of your home and landscape...even the snow!
You are truly blessed to have 9 grandchildren. I have a good friend that has 10, and I always love hearing about them. My 3 keep me very busy, but I would love to have more.
Have a wonderful week, and a very merry and blessed Christmas!
Mary
Hi Carolyn!
Thanks for stopping by and your kind words. Your blog is one of my favorites to just stop by and see a little of this and a little of that! You have such a welcoming and warm home. I thought your little teacup with the little bottle brush tree is sweet. I think I shall try that! :) . Also, I wanted to ask about your wood stove. What exactly are wood pellets? I wonder if we have any of those here where I live in Southern California? Are they special pellets for the type of stove the wood is burned in? Just curious. The wood in my fireplace is just starting to wind down for the night. I just love the smell of winter in my home with the fireplace setting the mood for a cozy evening. Thanks for sharing your home. Hugs!!
Thanks you Carolyn, I really LOVE a bit of 'this and that'. Your home looks as wonderful as ever. Yuletide Greetings come to you and all your fellow bloggers from me in Merry Old England where we could do with some of your snow just to make the country look a bit more festive. love from Eli at flutterbypatch
