Christmas Blessings Everyone!

I know you are all busy but I hope you will have time for a light Christmas Eve day meal.

You know how I love my transferware dishes. I have been collecting the for awhile and usually just a piece here and there.

and my new thrift store tablecloth too.

You can see some other red and white tranferware in the cupboard behind the table.

I was busy today baking biscuits, rolls, cheese bread, golden party loaves, and sticky date pudding-I am sure you are all busy too.

Christmas plates

I love this Spode Christmas plate

I thought I might as well show some of my village houses today too(below).

We went to an early family church service with some of our children and then a nice visit with my Mom. Now,we are off to one of my daughter's for a family drop in time where there are some pretty excited little ones.

I am joining in with Cindy at her always beautiful My Romantic Home for Show and Tell Friday.

Now, I would like to take a minute to wish all of you a wonderful Christmas and many Blessings for the New Year.

Peace,Joy, Love and Health

Carolyn

Merry Christmas, Dear Lady.
May your Christmas Day be bright.
We just finished eating German Chocolate Cake for my husband's 55th Birthday and the Kansas wind is howling. Snow continues to fall and it's almost a blizzard. We'll be home for Christmas.
God richly bless you,

You Carolyn.. my confessions here.. everytime I pop open your blog.. I inhale deeply like I'm going to catch a whiff of your home.

I day dream of long sleigh rides and as I step through your doors.. I feel the warmth and goodness seep in.. and then I breath deeply.. taking every wee bit deep inside me to hold it forever and ever.

Merry Christmas.. Love and Joy.

Dear Carolyn

Here I am on a quiet Christmas morn - times certainly change eh? I had the whole crew in last evening for chowder after the Christmas Eve service and they'll land again this evening for the big dinner and present opening. So I have a little window of quiet to come by and wish a very Merry Christmas celebration to you, Andrew and the whole family. May the love, joy and peace of the Saviour be yours in abundance, today and always.

Carolyn, This post is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing yourself and your home with all of us. You truly are an inspiration. BTW, I happened to notice at WS that they have a transferware bowl that is quite large on sale. I immediately thought of you. I have actually seen it and I think it has so many uses. It is footed as well and can be used as a smaller punch bowl or for serving vegetables or even salads. Just so you know. And thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving such kind remarks.
