In the White Light!

On this beautiful crisp sunny day I took some photos to share with you that were inspired by a new little grand nephew Simon that I am thinking of today.

I love these little handknit baby booties.

and this sweet little embroidered sign will be cute on his nursery door.

hand smocking, little knit sweater, baby booties-I think I have a theme here!

Oh! the littlest angel

Now I am joining Cindy today at My Romantic Home for Show and Tell Friday. Did I ever mention that Cindy's blog was the first blog I ever stumbled upon a couple of years ago. I did not know there was such a thing as blogs until that happy day. From that day on I was hooked! My son started this blog for me on his own accord one day because he thought I would enjoy it and now I am coming up to my 1000th post . Now I also want to say that if it had not been for Cindy doing a post on my blog several months after I started and sending many visitors my way I would have quit my blog because I thought I was the only one reading it- so I want to say thank you to Cindy for all her support over the time I have been blogging and of course all of you new friends I have made since! Now who else could I share these with if it wasn't for you and you know how I love to take pictures.

Thank you and have a fun filled weekend!

Carolyn

How Precious! I can't wait to see pictures of the nephew. He is one lucky little guy. I too, have almost quit blogging because I am pretty sure that myself about 3 others are the only ones to read. But I find it very theraputic and it is a great diary of sorts. Thank you for your great blog!

Hi Carolyn,
You have some really pretty things there. So cute! That little boy will welcome them I am sure. Congratulations on your 100th upcoming post. That's exactly what I thought when I started mine only a couple of months ago.
I think the Show and Tells are great fun and I am so pleased I am joining in. Its a lot of my crocheting but I still want to 'Show and Tell'.
Thank you for a lovely blog and Congratulations!

Carolyn,

Your blog is one of my favorites. What a loss it would have been if you had given up blogging!

Once again, lovely, lovely photographs sharing your sweet thoughts and beautful gifts for your new little grand nephew.

Wonderful!

Oh, Carolyn, your post is so precious. I love all of the softness and the way the light is on each photo. Congratulations on your upcoming bloggaversary!
You know what? Cindy's was the first blog I ever encountered too. Then I looked at the blogs she followed and went to them and stalked the blogs for about a year until I started my own.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend and I love your blog! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Hi Carolyn,
Cindy's was the first blog I ever read too; then I found yours! It was Heather who actually got me looking at Cindy's and then she told me about yours. I had wanted to start my own blog a couple of years before that but I had no idea how to go about it. When I finally got up the nerve to take the plunge and go for it, I had no idea how much fun it would be or how many lovely folks would actually take the time to come and visit me. I am still humbled to think that anyone would be interested in mine because I really didn't think I had much to share. I'm so glad there is a little something for everyone out there in the great big world of blogging. Your baby things are adorable. I love smocking too! Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Blessings,
Sandi

Carolyn, the white angel and booties, with the soft blue jacket are perfect for a sweet baby boy...lovely photos to show them off.

Cindy was one of the first blogs I ever visited as well, and she referred me to Shari at My Cottage of Bliss for help with painting my hutch. There are so many wonderful blogs, I couldn't pick just one favorite, but yours is one of them! To think that you're approaching 1000 posts! I can't imagine even living that long!

God bless,
Mary

You have captured all those baby items in such a gentle and loving way with your pics. They are very serene photos, just like looking at a sleeping baby's face. I enjoyed reading about how Cindy's was the first blog you ever read and didn't know there were blogs out there. We probably all have similar stories and here we are now. Though I don't get time to comment often, I really enjoy your blog!
