Today I am sharing some photos of Island scenes that I have taken recently. It is such a beautiful time of the year that I hardly ever leave home without my camera.
I like making mosaics as I can share more photos without making you tired-I hope!
(click on the photo if you wish to enlarge)
These homes are all in the little town of Summerside.
This is my daughter Emily and her husband with their little ones Noah and Lila. Emily's favorite season is the fall so she wanted me to take some outdoor photos. I am hoping to get some family shots of my other children and their families soon. It seems we are in for more rain this weekend though.
This is Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada so we are looking forward to having our family for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends!
Blessings,
Carolyn

As always Carolyn your mosaics are gorgeous. I feel like I'm in one of those old Ideals magazines. Do you remember them? I loved them as a child. I would look through them over and over.
Emily's family pictures are beautiful. What a sweet little family.
I forgot that it was Thanksgiving for you guys. My best friend was from Canada and would go home every year for dinner.(she's passed on now)I always told her that she was the luckiest person I knew, to be able to celebrate the holiday twice.
Beautiful post!
Hugs,
June
Beautiful houses, pumpkins and beautiful people.
Have a nice weekend, Jannet
Hi Carolyn,
Thank you for the recipe. I am going to try it out as well. The photos of your island are beautiful. The houses look very romantic! We don't have that kind of houses here in Holland. You have a beautiful daughter and grandchildresn. It so nice to have them nearby. I hope my daughters will not fly out too far either! My husband turned fifty today and we have some family around in the evening. For dessert I make an apple walnut crumble. Already look forward to it! Have a lovely weekend!
Lieve groet, Madelief
Carolyn, of course I love you're mosaics!!
See, the wee town of Summerside does need a b&b (wink wink) and I get this feeling that Lila smells like soft pink roses with a tad of deep peppery mingled in? It's amazing just how every human and living thing has their own smell.
Looks like Halloween can come your way here.. but can you send some of the cooler temps down please?
Love n kisses,
~Olivia
Not to worry I don't think that anyone visiting your blog could ever tire of mosiac pictures. They are just beautiful. The houses are so interesting. The colors on them must look beautiful against the snow.
Thank you Carolyn.
You are a talented photographer! PEI must be the prettiest province in Canada. I know people in BC think it is the prettiest, but I disagree. I love all of your photos, but the ones of the old houses are the BEST. Your family is so beautiful, you are so very blessed. Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy you lovely rain, we have snow! Hugs, Cindy S.
Your mosaics are wonderful, Carolyn. Have a lovely weekend and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones!

Do you pronounce your little grand daughter's name Like Lill- a or lie-la?
Just curious because my little girl is Lillian but we call her Lill-a or lilly.
You have a beautiful family!
P.S. Thanks for your sweet comments

Dear Carolyn,
Hello from Kansas. It turned out so chilly this week-end...I was not happy about this early arrival of chill!
Good to hear from you and yes, our house has the deep windowsills. I need to take some photos and blog about these charming features. You just gave me a great idea!
God bless,
