The Twilight Hour

The garden terrace looks so romantic as the sun goes down.
The terrace has mini lights that peek through the vines and candles glow from the chandelier.
I bought the chandelier at Wicker Emporium last year.
I often enjoy a peaceful stroll around the garden in the evening.
I also love to see homes with their lights on as twilight sets in.
Yep! I am one of those window peepers. This time it is okay as it is our home.

I took these photos a few weeks ago-the burning bushes are already starting to turn red. I will take you on a tour of the garden again soon.

What about you do you enjoy the twilight hour?
Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn

I love a house with lights -- we burn several because the house looks so much friendlier. I, too, like twilight!

Carolyn, I am one of those window peepers too and I think a home takes on a different charming character when the lights come on. I get lost in your photos also and you always have surprises and inspiration.

Enchanting!!!!!! And lovely!!! But how do you manage to enjoy outside in the evening, with the wee little flying/biting insects?

-sigh- I can hardly step out my door at one of my favorite times of day... twilight... Because of those nasty little flying critters.

When my grandson was here visiting, his Opa started our twilight walk. Beautiful ending to a day. Your pictures are just so pretty.

Candle light and dusk, adds up to romance! I too like seeing houses at dusk with lights on in the windows, especially in the fall. There is just something cozy about it!

Just beautiful, Carolyn, as always. Your home and garden ooze romance and grace. I also love the twilight hour out on the deck, with little white lights twinkling, and a cup of tea, on a warm summer night...some of my favorite things.

God bless!

Yes Carolyn,I love this time of evening as well. I love to see the homes lit up by lamplight. What a homey warm glow they give. A sign of welcome home. Your terrace in the evening is as beautiful as it is by daylight. Lovely photos.

Carolyn, I haven't visited for a while and I've missed your beautiful photographs! You home is simply amazing. I too love the time of day when the sun gives way to twilight. It's always been my favorite time of day, especially in the summertime. Your lights are lovely. Twinkling lights are gorgeous year round and a favorite of mine. Don't you love the sounds as summer evenings settle in? Have a beautiful week with all those precious grandchildren!
