Breakfast in the Terrace

On Saturday night we had our two oldest grandchildren Alec and Sam up for the night. We had fun playing hide and go seek with them in the garden after dark. But ,why do Grandpa and Sam always win -even after we cheated a little and Alec snuck into the house to call Grandpa on his cell phone so we could hear the ring in the garden. Next time Alec and I will make sure we are not wearing white!
We had fresh fruit with yogurt and homemade granola.
I made them buttermilk pancakes with whipped cream, fresh peasches and organic strawberries.
Sweet Sam
Amazing Alec

They cleaned up all their plates and had seconds.
Gram pa and the boys.

We sure did enjoy our time with these great guys!

Have mood day.

Your post sure brought back memories of growing up on my grandparents farm with my two (boy) cousins. We played hide & seek nearly every evening during the summer. What fun! (I never won either!)Such wonderful memories you are creating with your dear grandsons!

Hi Carolyn
The boys are as cute as can be. Hide and seek in the garden at dark sounds like just the kind of game little boys would like to play. You are most certainly fun grandparents and you always make everything look so beautiful!

Carolyn, your grandsons are truly lucky little guys to have an elegant grandmother that will introduce them to the finer things in life, such as your beautiful garden. Seeing them enjoy eating from glass dessert dishes, and served outside with a tablecloth, surrounded by plants and flowers, the kind of setting we usually save for company or a tea, is just wonderful!
