Good morning! It is another beautiful sunny day here on the Island and I got up early to prepare a casual little picnic for you today. I am joining in on Susan's Outdoor Wednesday again over at a Southern Daydreamer. Thank you Susan for hosting.
I thought this would be a nice shady spot today -right here in our garden below the mockorange tree that has such a lovely fragrance. I love plants that are not only pretty but fragrant too!
My sister in law gave me this sweet picnic basket a few years ago.
I found the tablecloth at a thrift shop-doesn't it go well with the picnic basket!
Iced tea is lovely on a summer day.
Take some time to enjoy this beautiful day,the lovely fragrance, lots of birdsong and some strawberry shortcake with your iced tea and then you can head over to visit Susan at A Southern Daydreamer and see the other participants as well.
Thank you for visiting me!
Carolyn

How fun! Looks like a great picnic!
Hi Carolyn
What a delightful picnic. This morning it was finally cool enough for me to get out in the garden and pull some weeds. When it gets hot my gadren gets so neglected. Yours is so beautiful.
Carolyn, I'm thrilled to see a country picnic! Refreshing.
You out did yourself. This is so very cute.
Sure enjoy your pictures and friendship.
Our Kansas weather has been stormy so I really am enjoying your milder climate via blogville.
God Bless,
~D~
