Afternoon at the Beach!

Today I am joining in on Tablescape Thursday again at Between Naps on the Porch. This is such a fun party and there is always lots to see. Thank you Susan for hosting!
Today was such a nice day I thought I would take you to the beach. I took along a few things so we could enjoy a pleasant afternoon together.

This is the perfect spot to enjoy our time together-don't you think?
The view is lovely and the temperature just right.

I hope you like lemonade and strawberry shortcake. It is strawberry season here and I made some biscuits and whipped some fresh cream so I hope you will enjoy a strawberry shortcake with me-otherwise I will have to eat two!
I love strawberries.

Did you notice the change in tablecloths-I think I already confessed to being a more is more person. I have to try different versions sometimes.

Look, I have an empty chair just waiting for you and it would be so nice to sit here at the beach and have a chat!
Have a lovely day,

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn
I would love to join you for a glass of lemonade. The table setting s is so pretty. You actually took all that stuff to the beach for a picnic? Reminds me of our trips to England when we would see their picnics and they had brought along their own table chairs and teapots. It was very civilized.

Carolyn...this is delightful! I'm on my way...don't eat that other dessert! :-) I love both tablecloths...they are both so different and give the table a totally different feel...but I love them both! Love your parasol...smart girl...keep that sun off. Beautiful tablescape...the whipped cream looks scrumptious! Susan

I love, love, love your tablescape at the beach. And I love strawberry shortcake. My mom always made Bisquick biscuits for our strawberry shortcake when I was growing up. My hubby likes his with angel food cake instead. So yours with biscuits brought back great memories.

Mmmm, I love strawberry shortcake. Real whipped cream and I am feeling very pampered at my special place--the beach.THis is pretty enough to be an advertisement.

Oh for a day at the beach! I love hearing the water lapping and tickling my toes- I have only experienced water a few times as we have always lived in the desert!

Thank you for letting me join you at your sweet table today!
