More Green & White Transferware

                                                                      Hello everyone!
We woke up this morning to ice in our birdbath so we know winter is coming on! It is making me think it will soon be time to decorate for Christmas.
Today, however, I wanted to show you some new green and white transferware pieces that I found recently.  I don't see this color around often so I was happy to get these two teacups and saucers in good condition for less then $10.

I got this new covered veggie bowl and the large platter at the Salvation Army yesterday. I love it!

Yep! Still hanging on to these roses.
The gravy boat was a gift from a friend.

Well, that's it for my green and white transferware.

Now ,just a heads up for  you Islanders Lori at Timeworn Treasures and Antiques on the St Peter's Road beside H&R Block is having a Christmas open house tomorrow (sorry,I am not sure of the time yet). I am really  looking forward to going  as I love her shop and she promises lots of white feathery stuff!  I bought the beautiful mirror above at her shop a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't wait to get it home and give it a Christmas look. If you haven't already been in, and you love lots of white and shabby chic cottage style you are in for a treat!
Thank you so much to all my followers-I am so pleased to have turned the 3000 mark. I never would have dreamt that would happen when I started blogging.

Take care,
Carolyn

Such pretty dishes. I LOVE covered bowls. They are so versatile and can be used in any room for many things. This one is gorgeous. I am now starting to think Christmas. I bought my cards today and a few little gifts and enjoyed the Christmas trees that are fully decorated in some of our stores. 3000 followers is wonderful, Carolyn. I expect you will soon have 3000 more. Your blog is a joy to visit. Hugs, Deb

Oh Carolyn your two new teacups are TO DIE FOR gorgeous, oh my gosh I absolutely ADORE THEM!

Your green and white transferware collection is stunning, my fav - I have had brown (2nd fav) and red and blue - but have sold all of them.

My husband told me that his grandmother had an entire china set of greena nd white transferware the family pretty much gave away many years ago. It gave me a tick in my eye hearing that, how I would love to have, cherish and use it. One can only hope it is well loved and cared for, wherever it may be.

Beautiful post today.

Do stop by for tea when you can.

Congratulations on your blogging milestone! And I love your green transferware. I think I have only two pieces, they are crescent-shaped bone plates. And they have the gold embellishment. So pretty.
Yes, winter is definitely on its way. Did you get any snow from the Nor'easter? We got a couple of inches, and then cooooold rain. Not pretty. The upside is that I can put the extra gallon of milk on the back porch, without rearranging everything in the fridge. "Nature's Icebox", y'know.

Hi Carolyn,
I love your green and whites! You did very well finding those treasures.
I had appointments today so I didn't get in to Lori's shop until 7:30 this evening. She did call me last night to remind me and I'm glad she did because I had forgotten about it.
A lot of her stuff was already picked up and it was busy! She did have a teacup for me though. She said when she saw it she thought of me so I was happy to bring it home. I like your Christmas mirror. I do love Christmas and will be getting to the decorating shortly. Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Blessings,
Sandi
