Peonies in the Garden

      Hello everyone,

I have been enjoying peony season

in our garden here lately so I

thought I would take a few minutes

to share a few photos with you.

As you can see above roses are

also blooming now as well.

These are another peony that

originated from my Dad's

garden.

                                                                         Bowl of Beauty peony is
                                                                         very pretty and doesn't need
                                                                         support.

     Hard not to love them.

                                                                           garden behind the table set.

               our garden mixed in with

other perennials.

                                                                    in the garden but hopefully another

  We are on the Charlottetown Garden Club

tour this Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and it

   is open to anyone who would like to come

      and tour around our garden and a few others

in the area as well.

Sunday Afternoon Tea in the Terrace

                                                                                   Hello everyone,

                                                                    We are having a sunny but windy day
                                                                    here but it is lovely in the terrace today
                                                                    so it is tea time among the peonies for us.

         The peonies are in full bloom now

          along with roses and the late lilacs

     so the garden smells wonderful.

                                                                         Lots of pink for today's tea.

       I love peonies of all colors

                 but these big pink Sarah Bernhardt

are one of my favorites.

                                                                  Have a seat and I will pour
                                                                  the tea. The pretty patchwork
                                                                  pillow was a thrift find.
