And Winter Came............

                                                                          Hello everyone,

                                                               This morning we woke up to a
                                                              winter wonderland.Yesterday,
                                                               everything was brown and grey,
                                                              so I am happy to have some snow
                                                              to brighten it up and it more like
                                                              Christmas.However, I will admit we
                                                              don't need all the snow we had last year!

                                                         We painted our house in June so
                                                          this is the first I have seen the
                                                          new color with a snowy background.

        The pond has a layer of ice.

     Well, now I really want to

              finish decorating for Christmas!

Casual Christmas Tablescape

    Hello everyone,

 Well, December is here already and

      there will be lots of activities going on.

      We are expecting our first snow storm

    in the next couple of days,letting us 

know that winter is really coming!

I set a casual tablescape in our dining

area with some pretty Christmas

dishes.

I love to display this old

enamalware coffeepot at

Christmas time so it sits

    as a centerpiece in the center

of the table.

 An old enamel ware teapot sits

 in the wicker tray as well.

                                                       I used plaid chargers.

                                                              The dinner plate has the
                                                               polka dots.

    A Christmas teacup blends well.

                                        The cupboard above is full of dishes......
                                                  hope I can squeeze in another set!
