Hello everyone,
I have decided to do some different themes
on my blog for awhile.
I ahve been blogging for a long time
so even though these photos may
have been on before over the years
I am sure they are new to many of you.
So today, it is all about the color mauve/
purple.
The above photo was one that I took before
a garden tea.
The bed does not stay in the garden
terrace as it is not covered by
anything except virginia creeper.
It did make for a pretty photos hoot though.
I love the vintage quilt on the bed.
My old vintage chaise is a comfy
spot for a glass of lemonade in
summer
I love these old mauve and white
transferware pieces.
Our porch with the old iron bed is
a great place to relax with a book.
Who doesn't love a bouquet of lilacs.
Mauve lilacs in our garden.
I love these Maritime Rose dishes.
I may have included too many lilacs
shots but I do love them.
A delicate teapot and cup and saucer
with a pretty mauve clematis.
This old quilt has really made the rounds in our
garden. Love the purple Jackmani superbra Clematis.
My garden hat gets trimmed with lilacs
Lilacs and transferware.
I hope you like the theme idea for
the quiet months of winter. I have
well over a hundred thousand
photos on my computer to choose
from so hopefully I don't bore
you!
Once again I want to mention that
you can subscribe to my blog if
you want to get an email when I
post. The button is on my sidebar
at the top right.
Thank you to all who have followed me
over my many years of blogging.
Take care,
Carolyn

Oh, such beautiful lilacs! We can never have too many. I love your blog. It's just so lovely. Thank you for sharing.
Such a lovely post, Carolyn. I love lilacs, too, and your photos are just beautiful. I own blue, green, and red transferware but have never found any purple in my thrifting travels. It's so pretty I'll have to look with more determination!
