Sunday Afternoon Tea

                   Hello everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your weekend.

It is a spring like day here with overnight showers
so have no snow which is pretty unusual
for us here on Prince Edward Island.

So, today I am in the sunroom
 where delicate pinks are
on display.

I took down my winter/ Christmas decor.
So. my Friendly Village china has been
replaced with my delicate pinks once
again.

                                                       Thank you for stopping by
and enjoy the rest of your day.

                                                                                   Carolyn

  1. Hello Carolyn,
Sunny greetings from Ontario. I love your blog and have folded for many years now. I check every morning to see if you have a new post. I have a passion for old dishes, too. Are the plates and cups and saucers with the wide pink rim made by Myott?? They are so pretty!
    Kind regards, Laura

  2. Hi Laura,
Thank you for following my blog.
The plates etc. are made in England by Grindley.
I was lucky enough to recently get a stack of
8 dinner plates to add to my collection for $8!

    Enjoy that Ontario sunshine!

  9. Lovely pinks, Caroline. I love roses on everything too:)
Gorgeous tulips. I've been looking through a Spring bulb catalogue which arrived a few weeks ago. Think I will order some tulips to put in pots.
Hope you are keeping warm. It's very hot here!
    Regards,
    Betty

  13. I never grow tired of pink and I am thrilled with the blush of it in the stores right now. February demands it don't you think? Your post has sparked a thirst so my kettle's singing as I plan to sit here and join you for tea and catch up with all that you have been doing.

  15. Breath-taking and beautiful pink china collection, Carolyn.

It's very snowy here so I am keeping my winter decor up a while longer.

    I haven't decorated for Valentine's Day and now I don't think I probably will.

I haven't in a while, probably time to purge it.

Have a lovely week. Stay warm.
