Hello everyone,
I hope you are enjoying your weekend.
I can't believe it is already into August,
the time when our garden is the most colorful.
We finally, had a good rain this morning but we
could use a couple of days of rain as our lawns
are getting burnt out.
show right now so I took a few shots to
share with you.
This is a newer clematis but
it has a few blooms poking
through the arbor.
Jackmani superbra is one
of my favorites.

These are a few of our clematis that are in bloom
right now.
Have a good week!

Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh so lovely! I just realized the other day, that it was your gardens in my Victoria magazine this Spring...lol Glad you had rain, we could sure use some over here. :) Kit
ReplyDeleteDear Carolyn:
ReplyDeleteWe have enjoyed the "Road to Avonlea" series this summer after a friend loaned it to us. So, I have thought about PEI quite a bit. We liked it so much we ordered our own set. Your garden looks wonderful. Yes, rain is a blessing. We got some last night but could use a lot more.
Simply gorgeous! Yellow features big in our landscape in August. Our summer pattern rains have started. Just a sprinkle here and there, but so welcome! Your gardens are always beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! My Nellie mossier is blooming now and my president is just about finished. We've had a lot of rain this year but need way more right now.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I love all the purple. Oh really, I just love it all!
ReplyDeleteWow, your clematis are prolific, Carolyn. I have some but not nearly as many blooms as you have. Wonder if you add Miracle Grow or something. Very attractive! Susan
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteI do not use miracle grow but use a good amount of mushroom compost when I plant them.
Thank you for your visits and nice comments!
Carolyn
Hello Carolyn.....
ReplyDeleteAll of your Clematis plants are spectacular!!! Especially love all the purple!!! The Clematis that I planted at the base of two posts,
fell victim to a naughty hen, that scratched & dug up the roots!
I always enjoy your beautiful photography and vignettes!
Thank you for sharing!

So many beautiful clematis in your wonderful garden.
ReplyDeleteYou can have all the rain you want from us. It's been raining almost every day all summer. It's been the baddest summer in 38 years.
So I really hope for a nice after summer;)
I wish you a lovely day
Lone
Just such an abundance of beauty, as always! Thank you for sharing!
