Hello everyone,
I am excited to share that the Victoria
magazines with our garden feature is
now out on our local newsstands.
I have to say it is quite a thrill to
have our garden featured in this
beautiful magazine. Thank you Victoria
and Kate Sears! Kate did an amazing job
of photographing the garden.
It was also an honor to be featured in
the same magazine as Georgianna Lane
whose blog I discovered a few years ago
and I have been in awe of her talent ever
since. I was happy to get a copy of her
beautiful book Paris in Bloom at Indigo
here locally under Editor's Pick but also
available online worldwide!
Georgianna has a very soft romantic style
and I love getting a peek at the beauty of her
travels...... wish I could fit in her camera bag!
I love her warm, friendly personality as well
so pop in and visit her at her blog
Georgianna Lane or on her Facebook .
A little peek at some of the beauty.
Paris in BloomI will enjoy many cups of tea while
enjoying my Victoria. I have saved every
issue since the premier copy and you
can be assured this one will be another
keeper!
For a peek at the feature on our garden
you can also check it out on Victoria
Facebook here.
So happy to have daffodils
and hyacinths in bloom in the garden
along with some other spring bulbs.
I love garden bouquets.
Can you believe May is already
here.....so much to look
forward to as the Island
becomes more beautiful
each day!
Thank you so much for visitingme today.
Take care,
Carolyn
yay- finally, right??
ReplyDeleteI think I need to add Paris in Bloom to my arsenal of beautiful eye candy coffee (tea) table books, thanks for recommendation!
Congratulations on being featured in Victoria Carolyn! My favorite magazine for years now... Happy Spring!

ReplyDeleteOh Carolyn, that is immensely thrilling to know your beautiful gardens are featured in Victoria, one of my all time favorite magazines. How over the moon you must be! Warm congratulations. Susan
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Carolyn! It's about time! I'm sure I had nothing to do with it, but I did write Victoria a few years ago and suggested they do a piece on you and your gardens! You just belong in Victoria! I'm thrilled to see this!
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone and thank you Podso for taking the time to write to Victoria....I am sure it helped!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day!
Carolyn
Congratulations on the lovely feature in Victoria, Carolyn! Your flowers from your garden are gorgeous and I have also been a fan of Georgianna Lane for years. So glad May has finally arrived and I'm thrilled at all the changes we see happening every day in nature. Love this time of year!

Sandi
I am so delighted for you, Carolyn. I immediately recognized your garden on Victoria's website! I'll be going to town and get extra copies today. Extremely happy for you!

On Easter day before dinner, I told my mom about this blogger I have been reading for a couple of years and encouraged her to follow as well, because I knew she would love the gardens and tea things. After dinner, I picked up her Victoria from the coffee table (which she hadn't read yet)and started leafing through it. "Oh my gosh! This is her!" So funny to see the garden that I had just told her about-I felt very "in the know", haha. Congratulations-I am sure this was a thrilling experience for a Victoria fan.
ReplyDeleteWarm congratulations...so well deserved🌷
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post, loved the color combination here. Tea set going good with the flowers. Thanks for sharing it with us
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you on getting a great publish in such a fine magazine! It is well deserved and long overdue. I looked for it last week but didn't find it so will try again this week. The flower photos are stunning and so colourful. We've certainly had lots of rain to deal with lately so things are growing but we sure need some sun!
