Warm & Cozy Weekend



                                                                        Hello everyone,

                                                           Today, was another sunny day so the
                                                           light in the library was warm and cozy.
                                                 
                                                 
I am always happy to have local
tulips from Vanco appear in the
stores as they add a cheery touch
to a room.

     It was the dark orange tulips
     that caught my eye this time.
                                                                       Pretty teacups from a good friend.

                                                                     Warm & cozy for a winter day.

    Dear Carolyn:
    I just think your friend must be very special to give you those tea cups with the Holland theme. Your library looks lovely and I am sure will encourage everyone to snuggle up and read. After just watching the eastern seaboard weather, I have this feeling you are getting or just about ready to get slammed with snow. Stay cozy!

    Everything looks so wonderfully cozy Carolyn ....We don't have a fireplace and I so wish we did ....it is snowing today down in the South of Alabama ....would you believe ...just 34ºf meant to go below freezing so the roads are going to be an icy mess and Alabama will come to a halt ...ha! ha! ....I too love tulips ...I was given some for Christmas from my sons ...in red and white ....thank you for sharing your lovely home and coziness with us ...I love my visit's with you ..you inspire me ...happy days to you ...Janet

    I'm just home from work and loved seeing your "cozy weekend" post as that's just how I want to feel on a snowy Friday afternoon here in BC. Going to make myself a cuppa tea and relax having been inspired by the beautiful pics you've shown. Lovely to visit with you.

    Looks as though the nasty storm brewin' on the eastern coast is going to skip us here in Ohio. Frankly, I was hoping to get lots and lots of gorgeous snowfall, as I adore it.

    It is a cozy and warm beautiful space, indeed! I love floral material in furniture, is so English country. Beautiful warm and cozy space.
    I wish it snowed up here in my neck of the woods, cause as a Newyorker I do miss it sometimes. It is the Andean part where I live, so yes, it's cold enough for hot chocolate and throws to watch TV, lol..

    What sweet Holland theme teacups, Carolyn! The library is a very cozy room to cuddle up and read a good book in. Love the prints in your curtains and tablecloth. I'm happy that January is coming to a close soon. We're that much closer to springtime again. Enjoy the weekend.

    Lovely, and this post does speak of warmth and rich in color! I once heard that it is not how much we have but how we arrange it and display the warmth and the welcoming touch! Your post is always abounding in the home and warmth!
