Hello everyone!
I can't believe it is November
already. November used to be my
least favorite month as it seemed
a bit dreary after all the bright colors
of October and before the sparkling
white snows of December.However,
now I find a certain satisfaction in
getting the garden bedded down for winter
and thoughts of decorating the house for
the Christmas season start dancing through
my head. Time seems to go by so quickly now
I want to enjoy the peace and beauty of each
and everyday.
Even though the days are short there
is a coziness to being tucked inside
a warm cozy house.
So, now I welcome these sweet November
days as I snuggle in for the coming winter.
I have stocked up on tea so
I can relax by the fire.
So much to be thankful for on
these sweet November days.
It is a damp grey day here today but we still
have more leaves clinging to the trees then
usual for this time of the year. I am hoping
to do a few fall shoots yet before focusing
on Christmas/winter.
Happy Sweet November!
Carolyn
Your home does indeed look cozy. It's all the little things that make it that way, like a tea cup and a candle. Today was a beautiful day in Southern Ontario and I hear it's supposed to be all week as well. Happy November! Diane
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, warm and cozy spot for a cuppa tea and a relaxing time. Perfect with a red transfer dishes.
ReplyDeleteHappy November.

Your cozy room would warm my spirits any season of the year. I love the sun streaming through those lacy curtains. Enjoy this time before the rush of December.
ReplyDeleteYour home is so cozy, what could be better than sitting in an arm chair with a cup of tea and watching the november storms coming.

Dear Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear you are enjoying the same golden autumn days that we are having. It's relatively mild here too for the time of year. Like you I am not that much of a November fan, but with days like this I don't mind in the least.
Have a good week!
