When we went to Charleston a few weeks ago we went
to Magnolia Plantation and Gardens a couple of times. It is
a beautiful place to visit and we thoroughly enjoyed
walking the trails bordered by camellias, azaleas,
magnolias, redbuds rhodos etc . We enjoyed all the
different birds and wildlife as well.
This was also the site of the wedding that I shared
recently.
We went early in the morning the
second time we were there and the
weather was lovely for taking pics.
Love the different bridges that are reflected
in the water.
There are also lots of beautiful statues.
The azaleas were blooming but not
quite at their peak yet.
Romantic
Love the trees dripping with moss.
The prayer garden
The camellias were still in bloom.
So beautiful!
These beautiful peacocks wandered
freely around the gardens.
Azalea lined pathways
recommend a visit to this beautiful
plantation especially in spring time.
I hope you enjoyed my little tour around
Magnolia Plantation and Gardens.
Have a wonderful day!
Carolyn

So gorgeous! I have been to New Orleans a few times and reminds me of that - all that Spanish moss. Such uniquely beautiful vegetation in the bayou kinds of places. Romantic and truly beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. xo
Absolutely gorgeous photos Carolyn! The reflections in the water are so beautiful. I'm sorry your lost your blog list! That would be awful and I don't have a clue to go about finding it. I hope you can!
ReplyDeleteI have been to Charleston several times and I do think it is one of the prettiest cities in the US. The gardens and the homes south of Broad are gorgeous. Thanks for taking me on a trip down memory lane.

Dear Carolyn, I have been to the Magnolia Plantation once, many years ago. We loved it, it was so beautiful. I had hoped to go back to Charleston this month, but due to an expected health issue had to cancel. I hope to get back there again.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
