Today,I gave our old fashioned bathroom
some Christmas touches .
Our home is 95 years old so when
we changed this room from a small
bedroom to an ensuite bath several
years ago we wanted to make it look
like it was always here so we looked for
an old cast iron tub and sink.
Some natural greenery add a
touch of Christmas.
If you noticed the difference
in color in the two above photos
it is all about light balance.....the first
one was on auto balance and the nrxt
one was on sunny day balance ~giving
a warm golden look. Not sure which you like
the best but in this room I like the golden
light best.
A bubble bath awaits!
Candles are glowing!
The little details!
I had a lovely afternoon tea out with some
good friends so I am later posting but
I hope you enjoyed some touches of
Christmas.
Today,I am joining Shabbilicious Friday
at Shabby Art Boutique.
Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn

ReplyDeleteSo wish your bathroom where mine! It's a perfectly charming space to escape to for some pampering.
ReplyDeleteJust love everything about it right up to the wall paper, and that's saying a lot because I am still not a big fan of paper.
But your rooms wall paper is nudging me in that direction.

ReplyDeleteThat candle-lit cozy adorable iron tub with bubbles is calling out my name, Carolyn! A white comfy bathroom and book, seriously, how do I sign up to stay at The Aiken Bed and Breakfast? You needn't even fix me breakfast, if I could just have a hot cuppa now and then I'd just stay in the bed and bath the entire time. : - )
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful bathroom, Carolyn! I love that tub! I think you accomplished your goal of having it look like it was always there.

[sigh]... such a perfect bathroom Carolyn. I remember my grandmother's tub when I was small and how it seemed so big I could swim in it. I'd love to sink into yours and gaze serenely at the beautiful Christmas touches all around me. I'm delighted to be featuring your Christmas bathroom on Shabbilicious Friday tomorrow.
