Peaceful Sunday



                                                             I hope you are enjoying your weekend!
                                                             I have prepared a little tea for you to
                                                             enjoy by the fireplace.      
                                                  Red and white is my theme today.
                                                       The quilt on the chaise was a Christmas gift
                                                       from my daughter a few years ago. It matches good
                                                       with the toule pillows.
                                                                 It is comfy cozy here.....a good place to
                                                                 relax.

                                                                  I love this toile santa.


                                                              Enjoy your tea and old fashioned
                                                              sugar cookies.

                                                                   Enjoy a book if you like.

    Such a beautiful setting, Carolyn! I love your toile Santa, too. I'd love to find one myself. I do have one that looks similar although he is not wearing toile.

    This setting is idealistic! I love it! It's early morning here in the Southwest US and those lovely sugar cookies with the tea make me even more hungry. Your photos are so inspiring, as always. BTW, thank you for responding to my last comment letting me know that Aiken House is your home and not a B&B. Lovely, absolutely lovely!
