Good morning!
This morning I am sharing a few photos
of our little conservatory on the back(south)
of our boathouse all decked out for the
Christmas season.
I think it has a cozy English Country look.
I love this green wire birdcage that
I bought at Homesense a few years
ago.
The old thrift shop skates that I
painted blue and added some dark
Annie Sloan wax to and some fake
fur ~ glued on.If you like the look
but don't have the wax some brown stain
will give an aged look as well.
Looks like Santa has arrived already!
Warm and Cozy
The Boathouse
our little Boathouse, I have included a few winter
shots from previous winters. You can see the nook
is built out on the left (east) side.
wooden french doors for it.
So the only part I haven't shared yet is the loft and I
haven't given it a Christmas makeover yet ....hopefully
one day soon!
Thank you for visiting and welcome to my
new followers as well.
Hope you have a wonderful day!
Carolyn

I just love this little retreat, Carolyn! It looks so pretty decorated for Christmas. I love the ice skates. The color is great. I can't wait to get mine out of the attic and set up somewhere. Not sure where I will display them yet this year.

Carolyn, you've done it again. Not only do I have a pergola in my garden trying hard to look like yours, I've just purchased a pair of old ice skates off Ebay. I liked yours so much I'm going to try it. What kind of paint did you use?
ReplyDeleteWhat color of paint is the door painted at the boathouse ? We have fond memories of the boathouse and the dock remembering that day and my husbands dip in your pond I love remembering that day !!
