Hope you enjoyed your weekend. The sun is shining here
today so I hoping to get out with my camera soon.
Love the autumn light in our library above.
Today, though I am sharing some
autumn mosaics from previous autumns.

I am joining Lavender Cottage for Mosaic Monday.
I have been working on decorating on 'boathouse'
for Christmas. We still have a few tours from
Japan and I wanted to give them a touch of Christmas
as the garden is passed now.
Of course,I will be taking pics to share with you as well.
Hope you have a good day!

Oh wow, your mosaics are gorgeous! I need to figure out how to do those.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!

I like the golden glow the sun is bringing into your library and the appealing fabrics you use for decorating. Seeing the red soil on the country road reminded me of our trip to your province.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking to Mosaic Monday Carolyn.
Fabulous photographs! I kept finding a "new favorite" the more I scrolled. And then I saw the brown transferware and my heart stopped. I only have a few pieces, but I absolutely love brown transferware and am keeping my eyes open when thrifting. Congratulations on scoring your new teapot!

Lovely, Carolyn! You've captured some wonderful autumn hues in your pictures.
ReplyDeleteA feast for the eyes each of these collages showing off the beauty around you! I would say any could be found in a gorgeous magazine layout.
ReplyDeleteI would never be able to select a favorite, for each of your mosaics is absolutely stunning, beautifully done~
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely mosaics, Carolyn, and I love the sunny glow in your library. The fabrics you are using are so pretty. Brown transferware is always a delight to the eyes. I especially enjoyed the photo of the horses. Have a lovely day.

Carolyn: Your photography is outstanding, as are your vignettes. So lovely. Everything about your home and the surroundings is so gorgeous. You are blessed to be surrounded by such beauty. Thanks for taking the time to create and share such a beautiful blog. God Bless. Joanie (Phoenix, Arizona)
ReplyDeleteOh my... I can't quit soaking up these bright and vivid photos! What a beautifully fantastic place you live in... and your photos capture the colors wonderfully. I just want to leave this post open on my computer, and come back again and again.. they truly nourish my soul.. as here in central Oregon, USA,where I live, we just don't have those bright vivid colors. I especially love the one of your screened porch. It has such a warm glow and is SO inviting.

ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn!
ReplyDeleteI love your mosaics so much!! Fall is so amazing and I always cling to it as long as I can and hate to see it go.
I have loved and admired blogs like yours for quite some time and decided to try blogging myself. I would love it if you ever get a chance to stop by and see my neck of the woods in northern Wisconsin (neighbors with your beautiful country!). You can find me at northwoodsscrapbook.blogspot.com
