A Pop of Red

I have been thinking about decorating

for Christmas lately as I am sure many

of you are too.

                                                                 

                                                                       When I found these  little red shoes

                           I thought they would be cute in a

                      Christmas vignette along with

                   the old sewing machine box.

                                                                 

       

 Some old books and I am set to go.

                                                         

                                                               I also,gathered a few flowers still
                                                               hanging on in the garden and used
                                                               this old coffee can for a vase.  ~
                                                               which cried out for a little more red.
                                                              So my red vintage enamelware coffee pot
                                                              and polka dot mug along with a vintage quilt
                                                              completed the picture.
                                                           

 

Just a little prelude to the 

upcoming holiday season.
