Hello everyone,
I have a makeover project to share
with you today.
This old door has a mirror behind
the glass with chickenwire over it/
I moved a few things around from the garden
to create this look.
The door and shutters are painted
Marina Blue from Behr and then
I gave it a good coat of Annie Sloan
dark wax to age it.
This is what it looked like before. The door was inside
at the back as well as the shutters ~ so by bringing it
forward it made it look more like an old shed.
There are a couple of clematis and a climbing
hydrangea planted on either side so I am hoping
they climb up over the slates of the roof in a year or
two.
I think it is more of a feature in the garden now~
don't you?
I am joining Between Naps on the Porch for
Metamorphosis Monday.
Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn

Very pretty. Love the statue.
ReplyDeleteIt´s a vey good idea to put a ordinary pergola to a garden shed like this.
ReplyDeleteAnd I like all your thing in your garden.
Especially your little garden cottage
I have a garden house too, which i have designed and me and my hubbie has build it from scratch last summer.
You can see it here if you like and scroll a little bit and you can also follow it how we built it if you go back in old posts.
