Tea on our Summer Porch

                                                                           Hello everyone,
Now that summer is here I enjoyed
taking my afternoon tea on our
                                                             summer (screened) porch.I can
enjoy the garden from here and
watch the comings and goings of
the robins feeding their babies in
the Miss Kim lilac right behind me.

I decided to treat myself to
                                                                      a few pretty cucumber sandwiches.

                                                                       The pretty teacup and
                                                                       saucer came from The
                                                                       Rosewood Cottage in
                                                                       Summerside.
My tea today is Vanilla Almond
                                                                     rooibos tea from Lady Bakers
Tea Trolley sold locally at the
                                                                     Farmer's Market.
A corner of our Summer Porch ~
if you would like to see more check
                                                                   it out here.

I used an old vintage sheet for
                                                                    the tablecloth.
Now that I have had my tea
                                                                      break, I am recharged and
better get back to work but
you can linger if you like!

                                                                     I am joining BNOTP for
                                                                     for Tablescape Thursday.

                                                                                       Thanks for visiting,

                                                                                                      Carolyn

So pretty and those sandwiches are absolutely adorable! :) I am hosting a tiny summer party the end of July and getting excited by the planning of my menu and decor.

Your cucumber sandwiches are so delicious looking wrapped like that. The whole setting is so pretty. I looks like the Maritimes are in for a beautiful weekend coming up so we can enjoy our porches and gardens and decks.
