Hello everyone,
We had a very grey foggy November day here today but still there was a certain moody look to
the day that had it's own beauty.
A bit bleak maybe ....but still
Since farming has always been an important part of our Island life,
I don't have to travel far to find a field of cows.
On the way to church this morning we went by the cenotaph in front of Province House where there is a Remembrance Day service every year to honor those who
fought for our freedom.
When we got back home I searched the garden for the last of the Autumn color.
The holly bushes add color all year.
The last of the roses
Lots of brown tones.
An Autumn rose in our garden from a couple of years
I love the beauty of it covered with frost.
I think this rose was actually called Autumn Rose.
Sunday Blessings

Your pictures are beautiful. We are having a rainy and foggy day here too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Post! You made even the foggy day look lovely and romantic.
ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteI love a foggy day! Beautiful shots around the garden, you have more roses hanging on than me :-) We are in for a hard cold snap this week, it's hard to watch the season end, but it's time for Christmas décor :-)
Hugs,
Bella
Hello Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteit's nice to walk trough a foggy
countryside and after this, to come
into a cozy house for taking a cup of tea or coffee with some friends..
Greetings

Hi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteI simply love visiting your site and viewing your photos! I have been inspired to try and create those warm, welcoming feelings in my own photographs. Instead of your beautiful guest house though, I have our children's playhouse to work with! A bit challenging, but fun to try and capture scenes of tranquility. I haven't posted anything yet, but hopefully I'll have something soon. Best wishes, Dana
my dear Carolyn
ReplyDeleteI have neglected you terribly this summer and I am so sorry. I have loved each and every post but especially your beautiful tea party. I was so very sad that I couldn't attend. Everything you do is perfectly beautiful and inspiring. Can't wait to take delivery on your new book.
Ann
Dear Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteI believe we are having the same sort of weather. This weekend part of Holland was covered in clouds as well.
Your garden does still look lovely. In mine all the colour has gone. I am looking forward to the spring, when the flowers will appear again!
Love to take part in your give away. Your book looks beautiful Carolyn!!
