Country Christmas ~ Giveaway!



                                                                        Hello everyone,
                               I am finally back ~ it took me longer then I thought it would to put the
                               final finishing touches on my new book (soft cover) Country Christmas but
                               I am happy to say it is now done and ready for sale online.

                               So today I have a little preview for you and a chance for one of you to win a copy.          
                                                                                             
                                 The cover photo above is from a skating party on our pond last winter.

                                                               in the boathouse.
                       Country Christmas is a collection of my favorite winter/ Christmas shots
                                  from both the winter garden and inside our home and garden cottages.

                                 Today was a beautiful day here so after hitting publish I enjoyed getting
                                 the windowboxes filled with their winter greens and then moved inside
                                 to start doing some Christmas decorating. I am happy to be able
                                 to get started on decorating for winter/ Christmas as I love the season
                                 so much....you too? I finally had a chance to take some new pics for you,
                                 I will post them shortly.

    Hello Carolyn, I love the winter/Christmas to it is a lovely season but over here it is not always snow. The photos you make are beautiful the snow pictures are so nice I like snow and if we had it over here the hole family is going outside for a long walk our ice skating if there is enough ice.     Carolyn I know your new book will be fabulous. You take such wonderful photos of your beautiful home and gardens all year around but the winter ones are so magical. As a child we had a baby doll sled similar to the one in the top photo minus the carriage hood. It was a soft blue and had wrought iron runners and handles like yours. We girls had such fun with it.     Oh Carolyn I didnot realize you have another book coming out and this time it will be winter scenes of your most gracious home and gardens.
    One of my dear daughters gave me you first book for my birthday in October. It is still standing tall on my dining room table. I love it and I am sure your new one is just as inviting to peruse and dream of maybe someday seeing that part of Canada. At this time of my life I find I mostly need to live on dreams but they too are a joy.
    Maybe this time I will be the lucky winner. I will check to see on the drawing date and if that should happen I will give you my new email address as I do not blog.

    I simply adore your style. I'm trying to mix it to the mine, because I live in the South of Italy where colours are bright and very 'coloured'. Reading your book would be so useful for me. Moreover I'm deeply conviced it is wonderful and make us dream.
