Hello everyone,
While we were in Chipping Campden we stayed in what I consider to be a quintessential English cottage ~ Twine Cottage.
We had our own little enclosed garden and it was a 3 minute walk to the village.
The view from our garden.
So English!
The sitting area was comfortable and cosy!
It had a beautiful bath with lots of character.
The neighbours had their own enclosed garden as well. Love the cat perched on the garden wall.
The cherry tree was so beautiful and it was right outside our door.
I would love one of these cherry trees in our garden.
This was the view right across the road from us. I enjoyed hearing the ba's of the little lambs.
If you are going to the Cotswolds and are looking for a cosy little cottage I highly recommend Twine Cottage in the beautiful village of Chipping Campden with lots of tearooms, pubs, shops etc.. I hope I can go back someday.
Thank you for stopping by ,
Carolyn

I am so thrilled about your trip. I was on a tour bus as we drove through the Cotswolds and I longed to return to take in more of the countryside and the villiages. Where you stayed was just lovely. I am sure that you enjoyed every minute of your stay there.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a lovely place to stay, Carolyn. So very English in every way. It must have been wonderful to stay in such beautiful surroundings and also be so close to the village amenities. Thanks for sharing these photos with us. Pam

Heavenly. I was at my weekly knitting night last night and over a glass of wine, I said to the girls "I'd just like to live in a little stone cottage in England. Tend some chickens, weed the garden and work on my crafts." You have taken the photos of my daydream......J
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous place! Who wouldn't want to visit and stay there? The gardens are fantastic.

Beautiful photographs and I especially love the sepia ones, are they for your next book?? I am lucky to live just a two hour drive for Chipping Campden and all the other beautiful villages in that area so it is a day trip visit for us. I love the Vale of Evesham. Did you visit Blenheim Palace, we often will stop there on the way to the Midlands?
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, love Jackie in Surrey, UK.
Hi Jackie,
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky indeed! The Vale of Evesham is beautiful but we did not go to Blenheim Palace....maybe next time!
