Hello everyone,
We had a beautiful snowfall on the weekend and I love how much more like Christmas it finally looks here on the Island now.
So it has set the mood for a winter white tea here in my new little 'conservatory'. It is tiny -about 10 ft. by 4 ft. but it is a space I will really enjoy.
A lovely white scented candle set the mood. I am using my antique winter white teacup with the wheat pattern.
I also have the matching teapot and it is a nice big one so it can hold lots of tea for us.
I love this old iron chandelier that I got at the 70 mile yardsale this fall.
Well, that is my 'Winter White Tea' for the day. Hope it brought you a peaceful moment or two in your day.
I am joining Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday.
We are praying for all the families affected by the horrible tragedy in Connecticut. We can't even watch it on the news as it is beyond horrific to think of something like this happening to so many innocent people in a small normally safe town.
Thank you for your visit,
Carolyn

Very lovely, Carolyn, and your little conservatory is sweet dressed in your pretty style. My heart is broken for those in CT, too.
Hugs, Cindy
so lovely! What a clever way to add a little conservatory!
It is so serene and beautiful, Carolyn! I love seeing the snow in the background. We haven't had any snow here ~ a few flurries here and there but then it stops.
Hallo Carolyn, it is so quiet and nice photos. Very beautifull kettle do you have. There was thaw through the weekeng and there is for now everything is sad and dirty. Have nice and quiet days before Christmas. Jana
Hi Carolyn,
Our hearts go out to those affected by the tragedy in CT and our prayers are for the families.
Your little conservatory is looking lovely, indeed. That Andrew is a talent! What a great team you two make! White Wheat, next to Masons Pink Vista, is my fave pattern!!!! Love that teapot, girlfriend! Wish I could be there to enjoy a cuppa with you in christening your new hideaway... :-)))

Oh this is the sweetest little room so filled with light. What a great idea to re-purpose old windows and doors that way. I love your old teapot and cup and saucer. Beautiful post Carolyn.
Your new conservatory looks like the perfect place for tea and to enjoy all that Mother Nature has to offer.

Hello Carolyn...I love all the white. So peaceful and serene.
That is what we need as we all get through this unbearably sorrowful time. Susan
This looks lovely, a really tranquil place to sit and have tea.
Ах, колко е красиво и зимно! Много приятна обстановка, чак и на мен ми се допи чай.
Поздрави и весели празници от мен!
Once again I just thank you for putting some beauty and sweetness into a world that has such ugliness as the Connecticut tragedy. If we all did add some beauty to life it would really be such a great place to live.
Your home sure looks like Christmas now with the snow outside the window. Lovely pics as always!
Hope you have a nice Tuesday.

Absolutely beautiful is everything that you share.........Love and hugs and smiles across the miles.

Beautiful!!! Just beautiful!!
What a darling little room and what fun you will have sitting out there and sipping your tea and reading. Love all the light which floods in. Your white tea is very soft and serene; beautiful!
Thank you, Carolyn, for joining me for tea and helping to make my party this past year all the more special. Enjoy the days leading up to Christmas and to you and all your loved ones, Merry Christmas!

Hello Carolyn, I love your wonderful blog and your lovely decoration ideas, your home is so fine and really beautiful.
I put an idea from you and a picture from you to my blog, if you want, visit me, I found your idea with old "pudding form" so pretty, I hope it is allright for you.
Have a wonderful christmas time, cornelia from Germany
Beautiful, love your post and especially your small room. You have it decorated so soft and so beautiful. Looks so peaceful, I could sit and enjoy the view and sip some tea for hours. Thanks.
Carolyn, Cozy and warm in your conservatory! The photos are beautiful with the snowy background. It is always a wonderful surprise to see your special posts and your images of tea. The winter white teaset in the wheat pattern brings beautiful memories of a family friend who loves antiques and would serve us on this beautiful china. I hope you have a joyous Christmas with friends and family! We are traveling to my only son's home for he is a TV sports anchor and will be working part of Christmas day with a chance of a snowy Christmas. You enjoy tea on Christmas Day and toast a cup of tea to many more!
