Carolyn: Such a beautiful sentiment and post. Your Christmas Cottage and your idea are just so special..Happy Wednesday..Judy
Your respite was visually exactly what I needed....getting set for company in about an hour and teatime came and went with not a single moment to stop and sip!
Your snow looks so pretty- hoping you have a really white Christmas this year!
Your holiday tea you are attending tonight sounds absolutely heavenly - can't wait to read all about it. Wish I were there.
Hugs.
What a lovely transferware pattern, Carolyn, and you match the bed perfectly! : ) Your outdoor shots are beautiful. Snow in our forecast for tomorrow night but I don't think it will amount to much. It will be nice to see before it all melts though.
Beautiful photos that pink tea set so so pretty.......
I would love having a cup of holiday tea, especially if the cup is as gorgeous as yours. Your nook is cozy and ...classy!

Carolyn thanks so much for joining us last night at Beaconsfield. I hope you had a chance to chat with the Lt Governor and his wife, they are lovely people. Although the tea and sweets were no where near what you serve I do hope you enjoyed them. The carriage house is so lovely with it's few decorations.
Looking forward to getting together again in the new year. Your blog photos take me back to the peaceful serenity of your home.
Hi Maple,
I really enjoyed the evening-the carriage house is beautiful and the food company and music were all lovely.
Hope to see you soon and Merry Christmas!
Carolyn
