A Sunroom Christmas Tea

                                                               Hello everyone,
I hope you enjoyed your weekend. There is a definite chill in the air here now but so far nary a flake of snow even though some parts of Canada had a good snowfall.
On Saturday, I thought I should clean up the sunroom and give it some Christmas color. I find I am loving red and white this year so it is showing up in a few rooms for the Christmas season.
When it was cleaned up what better why to enjoy then with a nice cup of tea in my old red and white transferware teacup.
The urn got dressed up with some greenery from the garden.

I love these sheep cookies that my friend Heather made for me-she probably thought I would eat them all but good as they are-they are just too pretty to eat!

I love my red and white transferware all year long but especially at Christmas time.
I moved my paperwhites up here as they needed some cooler night temps to slow them down.

                                                        Love this angel-don't you?

I am to be slower getting our house decorated this year maybe because we are not on a Christmas house tour as we were the last few years but it is slowly coming. I am working on our bedroom now and will soon share pics of it. Can you guess the color scheme? If you guessed red and white go to the head of the class!  Ha!Ha!

I am joining Rose Chintz Cottage for Teatime Tuesday today.

Well, now that I have had my tea I think I will go back to my Christmas decorating.

Take care,
Carolyn

Good Morning Carolyn, those cookies are adorable and I would have a hard time eating them. Taking photos of them would be a sure thing. The red and white transfere chine is perfect for Christmas and you style is so well. I am cozy in front of a warm fire drinking coffee and need to get up and manage some more Christmas decor myself. xo, olive

Oh, I wish I had a sunroom like yours!! It's so beautiful. Guess it won't be as lovely in this terrible weather we have (rain and wind) but it must change one day!
Just love your china. The red and white are just my favorite colors.
Hope you have a nice day.
Love Elzie

Doh! The first guess that came to mind for your bedroom decorations was blue and silver.... silly me! Down the chute I go! ;)

Carolyn, your decorations are so lovely and fresh! I know that sometimes I crave fancy colors for Christmas but, this year, I crave fresh, natural and traditional colors (with brown - I need to make a gingerbread house!!!! It's all Pinterest's fault! =]) Anyway, your pretty pictures, here, are just the ticket!

I thought that I couldn't wait for Christmas but, really, I'm still in that in between space of autumn into winter... although, I, like you, could use, at least, a few flurries, at this point. The only snow globe weather we've had, so far was this past Saturday. So pretty!

Such a lovely tea in your sunroom, Carolyn! I wish our sunroom was a bit more private ~ I'd have the shades fully open all the time. The greens in your urn look wonderful. It's so nice that you get to still bring some of your garden indoors even though it is time for it to sleep.

I love the bright and airy sunroom where you've set up your red and white tea today. Your paperwhites are beautiful tucked along the window sills.

That is a pretty angel, Carolyn. Your sheep cookies are so cute and leave it to Heather to make them. Seems we all have a 'thing' for those fuzzy creatures. Red transferware is right for anytime but it is especially nice at Christmastime! Another beautiful post. Thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your week.

Blessings,
Sandi

Beautiful as usual! I am going to have to come east sometime and find some of that transferware...there is neither hide nor hair of it here in B.C. Have a lovely day!
