Hello everyone,
It is a sunny but breezy day here today but a perfect day to enjoy a break in our vine covered terrace(gazebo). The vines are virginia creeper on the front but on the side and back we have a grape vine.
So let's enjoy a glass of grape juice with some cheese and a handful of grapes.
Some of the grapes are still green-mostly the ones inside as they are not getting
the sun.
But the grapes in the sun are turning purple.
Our bouquet today is some hydrangeas from the garden.
I hope wherever you are that Hurricane Leslie didn't cause any really serious harm. We got several inches of rain that we needed anyway and thankfully we escaped the high winds.
I am joining Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday today.
Take care,
Carolyn
I love grapes and your pictures are so pretty. I am 58 years old and just recently started to eat red and black grapes. Always loved the green ones, but now love all of them.
ReplyDeleteBoth this post and the one below are glorious!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors and wonderful looking grapes...I wanted to come back by and thank you for joining me @ Mz. Witherspoon's It's a honor to have you. Thank you for the visit. ReplyDeleteI like the taste the look and the smell of grapes but they don't like me too much so I never eat them, we have a vine but it didn't produce last year maybe it's too old now, so this year we will just wait and see how it goes

ReplyDeleteOh so lovely and inviting! I'm off for some grape juice and cheese for a little snack! (:>)
ReplyDeleteJust resting now after a very busy day here. Love the grapes and I relish the cherbs as I broke my very big and heavy pineapple this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteIt fell off the steps as I was moving it.. or trying to move it. It was 50+ pounds. I broke in two and then tons of little pieces off of them. *Sigh* Yes, another will come along. But I'm ok and nothing hurt, but my ego.
Thanks for making me feel better with cheese and grapes.. perfect nibble items.
warm hugs,
Cotton peony

My mouths is actually watering over those purple grapes. I can just taste that distinct grape flavour.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy them.
The Racoons must love your grapes but haven't been caught red handed .....yet. Seriously, this is the perfect fall setting and I love the plate of cheese and grapes. It would be so wonderful to step through the post and sit in the shade of your lovely vine covered terrace and sip grape juice and view your lovely ripening grapes.
